Money from the TV deal goes to the Premier League and they distribute it. The Premier League as an entity is not "competing" with the clubs in the Football League who benefit from solidarity payments. Southampton FC aren't giving its "competitors" money.

Anti-Saints agenda on the BBC as usual at the start of the Liverpool match. They've done a little montage of the shock results of the fourth round, featuring the Man City, United and Chelsea upsets. But they seem to have forgotten to include that seismic shock of Southampton FC being knocked out by, err, another Premier League team. Strange as forum geniuses on here got very upset when that bombshell result wasn't considered as newsworthy as the others. Why oh why oh why do they hate us so?
