Do you still think Spurs paid a journalist to make this story up?
-
He loves Le Tiss, has said so a few times before. Brilliant.
-
Let's call him sports personality of the year and be done with it. Maybe, just maybe, they're not wrong.
-
It's a weird coincidence that the story journalists were paid to completely make up about us in order to destabilise our champions league challenge turns out to actually happen, isn't it? Because it's just a coincidence, right?
-
Difficult to know what will happen to our Morgan in the next decade. But go for it anyway. You can always activate the "well I've always loved The Shawshank Redemption" get-out.
-
Have they? Brazil 2014 was brilliant.

"You can have all the trappings of a professional football career as long as you don't rape anyone" sounds like "a bit of common sense" to me, mate.
-
It's difficult, but no one has a right to do any job they want. Especially not in a high profile environment. If it was Chris rather than Ched Evans he wouldn't just stroll back onto the Radio 2 breakfast show and The One Show. Any high profile football club has got the right to not offer him employment. If fans, campaigners and (possibly more importantly) sponsors make it difficult for him to get work in this country, so be it. He might end up in the Greek league or something. He can still be a footballer but just somewhere else. I think Jessica Ennis has made a very clever move. Hopefully will make the SUFC board see some sense.

Who is "they"?
-
He has come across as an absolute cretin with no remorse, especially considering the additional suffering his victim has gone through. There are certain careers someone convicted of rape would not be allowed to continue. I think the high profile nature of professional football should be included in that. I feel sorry for Nigel Clough being put into a really difficult situation while the Sheffield United board are too gutless/greedy to do the right thing.

Klinsmann is only here because someone has paid him to stop Saints finishing in the top four.
-
The exact same memories. Hard to believe these days there wasn't even commentary for every match, just having to listen to Solents music choices while worrying about the goal jingle coming on. Eventually they moved on to second half commentary but wouldn't announce what game of the three they were going to do until five past three (I can now announce...), to make sure attendance wasn't affected. A different world. Kids these days etc etc.

Our biggest threat to Champions League football...the League Cup

Dalek playing blinder as usual. Sorry chaps. He is never, ever going to stop. He genuinely thinks he is hilarious. -

No, you're getting worked up. I'm taking the pi ss. My new favourite bit: you asking Pap to back you up. Well done. -
Who is paying which journalists to do this? It ain't happening, son.

Maybe all the clubs we've knocked out of the League Cup have been paid to lose to us as a way of destabilising our attempt to get in the Champions League. Sheffield United probably have been paid to make sure it goes for 120 minutes and penalties. -
No he doesn't. Journalists taking money from club X (which club, BTW? ) to write stories to "destabilise" Southampton's tilt at the Champions League is not really an issue "ethically", it would be an issue because it would be an utterly futile exhibition of utter bloody pointlessness. Why the buggering hell would anyone bother with that? Pointless. Utterly pointless. Southampton really isn't the centre of the universe you know.

Just because you think it happens doesn't mean it happens. Secondly, it doesn't happen.
-
Could be an excellent question in a GCSE History exam. Discuss.
-
The only response to that is LOL.

Just had a quick look at the poppies at the Tower (in the pi ss ing down rain so couldn't stop long). Beautiful and moving. Great stuff.

What journalist has a "vested interest" in our failure, or indeed the success of any club? How does that even work? Just paranoid babbling nonsense. It wasn't journalists saying we were going to appoint a terrible manager in the summer. It was you.
