That's an agent "rent a quote" story if ever there was. "Oh yeah, my boy's being tracked by club x, club y and Southampton".
-
In the face of no serious bids from any major club for any of our best players. It's a lovely attempt to rewrite history, but no, that was not last year's "main objective".
-
The one trick pony who was heavily involved in what Alpine described as "the greatest five years in our entire history" or something a few weeks ago. And the one trick pony that Alpine went suitably apesh it about when he left. The gift that keeps on giving.

One can see how you breezed through the interview for that Football Manger stats job.
-
Didn't realise he'd signed a new deal. Good. Staying at Derby under a good coach is what he needs. Would have liked to have seen him at Saints, of course but he'll get more games at DCFC. Maybe next year.
-
For an asset strip/fire sale, they are making a right mess of it. I'd like to see another striker, a left back (obviously) and another wide/creative attacking player. Oh and a centre back to replace that one who's leaving. Goalie seems to be important for some but I am not hugely fussed, apart from maybe a decent young back up to replace Gazza.

Us signing Honda doesn't look that ridiculous, does it? Probably not that likely but doesn't seem totally beyond the realms of possibility - he's had a terrible season in Italy so they may want rid, we could probably afford him and I imagine his wages wouldn't be that astronomical. I've not actually seen a credible link so is this even worth discussing? Doubtful.

Man U target Blind, right? Clearly a massive failure by useless old Les Reed if we don't get him.
-
It's all there for him to succeed I hope - a manager that believes in him and, hopefully decent supply from Tadic. Go on my son. There's only one Pelle.
-
Go figure what? Winning the JPT is no a better achievement than 8th in the Prem? Okay then.
-
No point saying "no point writing him off". He will not play for SFC in the PL.
-
Good news. Hopefully we buy another striker too - or Osvaldo magically turns into a SFC legend next season. I expect the former.
-
16 in over 60 games over two seasons for a front line poacher does not suggest that much of a knack.
-
He tweeted about being back in training the other day. A right keeno. He would love to play for us again. He's not going to get Premier league football with anyone else.
-
Rant rant rant rant absolute disgrace Roy picked Sterling ahead of Super Saint Lallana rant rant.....rant rant Judas Lallana won't get a game at Liverpool ahead of the likes of, errrr, Sterling rant rant rant...and so on.
-
Suarez is only leaving because he no longer believes in the ambition and vision of Liverpool Football Club or something.
-
He's been given plenty of chances in the Championship and has been found severely wanting over the last two years. Shouldn't be anywhere near our squad.
-
So what if they are looking for a left back. They obviously didn't want Shaw (or weren't prepared to pay the silly money MU did).

Koeman's first Southampton press conference 11/7/14
CB Fry replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Watched the video and listened to the solent interview. (Enough about Suarez already..) Got to say I think RK is great - comes across well but with just enough in there to suggest he won't be taking any sh it whatsoever from any players. I am sure Lovren and Ossies will both go but not until the pair of them have the balls to turn up at the training ground. I think we are in good hands and he will build bare minimum a solid mid table side next season. -
I can see us going for both. With it being likely that one of the two may well not be up to it. (and one of them being up to it)

So, "second album syndrome" when I've been on this forum and its predecessors doing the same kind of stuff for years. A proud record, no doubt. But a typically pi ss weak analogy from our pet conspiro-idiot. Just flailing about and never landing. Anyway, that's the transfer thread ruined.
-
Well there are loads of them on your brilliant 9/11 "resource" forum but clearly to a standard of intelligence I could never reach. Just beyond me. So I might just have to stick to relentlessly mocking thick cu nts like you for sport instead.

I do quite enjoy taking on the idiots on the forum, yes.

Koeman's first Southampton press conference 11/7/14
CB Fry replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Why do people always think we are going to unveil a new signing at a pre scheduled press conference, I don't think we have ever done this. Today's press conference will be a press conference with the manager. -

Does on mine. True story.
