  1. Just heard Brendan Rodgers on Five Live talking about preparations for the new season. Was asked about further strikers to replace Suarez and came out with this. “Jay Rodriguez would certainly be an option, but it won’t be cheap I think. We’ll have to see.” Unbelievable.
  2. You need to work on your photographic memory because THIS FORUM NEEDS PROOF FFS
  3. I've been waiting for some outrage, because plenty on this forum are disgusted at this type of behaviour. Funny how quiet it's all been. Not one word on here about reporting Koeman to the FA for tapping up.
  4. Why are people so desperate to know the name of an agent interviewed on the radio? Do you think Batman made it all up? Pointless forum gold.
  5. Oh dear. That horrible woman wrecking your dreams. Embarrassing is indeed the word.
  6. Someone's been at the brandy.
  7. What have we really done since the early sixties?
  8. I think you need learn to read sutuations a bit better than you do now. Then you wouldn't be openly weeping "but they pwomised no one would ever leave, they pwomised!" Thoroughly looking forward to the dins doing their little sums on September 1st - they said they'd spend every penny they did THEY PWOMISED!!
  9. Nice lecture about players going on strike in response to someone that didn't talk about players going on strike. Players can be disruptive and difficult without going on strike or even threatening to.
  10. Doesn't really happen though, does it? We were showered with praise last season left, right and centre. This kind of moan is almost as outdated as the classic myth "when he wins he's British, when he loses he's Scottish" thing bitter old jocks say about media coverage of Andy Murray.
  11. Either way, the original 5 year plan was to establish ourselves as a Premier League club, and ML (or anyone connected to the club) never said anything about the CL when he was alive. Just bulls h it from the Italian bulls h itter. The players are not leaving because of some disillusionment with the clubs "vision" or "ambition" it because they have the opportunity to play for Man United and Liverpool. Funny no one on here is having intense discussions as to why Tadic was so disillusioned with Twente ' s vision and ambition, ain't it?
  12. It made us look like a pub team being we were wearing an off the shelf template design any Sunday league club in Britain could buy. Which of these clubs looks "more professional" in your eyes? Porto vs Portsmouth Juventus vs MK Dons Atletico Madrid vs Swindon Town Barcelona vs Burnley Ajax vs Bristol City and so on...
  13. We're doing that stuff with the new customer relationship management agency we signed up with. Of course when the club shared that on the website the usual forum retards decided how it was a disgrace and we should be concentrating on signing players. Yes, the head of marketing should be concentrating on signing players.
  14. The detailing on the shoes really was exceptional, though. Be fair.
  15. He never actually thinks that. Just a pointless, repetitive trolling routine of a "comedy" opinion that has been going on for five years, in fact far, far longer. Gawd, I've been on here too long. The shame of it is that Dalek thinks it is all genuinely hilarious.
  16. Usually O'Callaghan or whatever his name is.
  17. If that is real quote from Koeman then I expect quite a lot of outrage on here. Because pretty sure we get jolly upset if football clubs are seen to be expressing intereste in other clubs' players publicly.
  18. We'd probably be excited if we'd signed him. Could turn out to be sh it. Just like Pelle could. Football, eh? I ask you.
  19. Keep ranting, swivel-eyes.
  20. While I don't think we would get relegated, It is worth saying that I can't remember any pre season where we haven't gone somewhere - Norway, Belgium, wherever and smashed some part timers. Utterly pointless drawing optimism from games that are nothing more than kick abouts. I bet the same people getting excited will be the same people saying "patience, patience it's a long season" if we lose our first three league games.
  21. Not really, as several clubs who finished below us last season, and QPR proved the season before, proved quite comprehensively.
  22. So is paying high wages a good or bad thing? You're once again risking tying yourself in knots when you can't quite work out what point you're trying to make.
  23. It's a pretty tight choice. QPR probably will go higher on wages, because they are mental, not because we can't compete. HR will be persuasive and if he is the kind of person to be swung by a phone call from Rio Ferdinand you can see them playing that card. Plus he joins the London set alongside the players from the other London clubs. There are reasons to join QPR, which are understandable but also don't mean we all need to start wailing at the moon about us not being able to compete. There are loads of compelling reasons to join Saints as well. Let's see which way it goes. Centre back in a pretty woeful team last year: I'd get over it.
  24. They might not want their (apparent) inside info to be so overtly pulled out, although Guan does start threads, so he might not care. Hunting stuff out is part of the fun of the forum, anyway.
  25. Truly, truly mental.
