  1. In a few days he'll deny he ever started this thread and accuse people who say he did of "twisting things out of context".
  2. Yes you did, you said it all, and you know it. There were long discussions about what Wolves were doing, and various other random clubs annoucing expansions - even L1 and 2 clubs you used in your pointless propaganda about how we needed to expand. There was plenty of stuff about "in the eighties Chelsea had xx attendance, look at them now" you know you said all of that shi t. Plenty of stuff comparing us to Everton. Frankly I am going to stop because we all know you said all of it, but you are so soul destroyingly pedantic it isn't worth the energy.
  3. You seriously saying you never posted up pictures and news stories about Wolves stadium expansion? Alright then. Never once mentioned Chelsea in 1984? Alright then. Never started a thread that lasted forever about our stadium expansion with all the images from that CD rom thing that was sent out. And the theme of that thread was the need to get the expansion started? Alright then. Never once compared us to Everton in attendance threads? Alright then. You said all of that stuff you pointless bore.
  4. I found MLG's random positive musing threads (we are bigger than Everton, we need a 50,000 stadium, just look at Chelsea in 1984, Wolves might one day maybe expand to 50,000 so we need to do it now, look at the size of our catchment area, we're off to the champions league because we got promoted from L1 to the prem and if we can do that then anything is possible, man on the moon etc etc) far more annoying to be honest. And I am finding the "we're doomed" stuff pretty darn annoying.
  5. That, to me, doesn't suggest a man looking to angle for a transfer. Unless he is a bit dim.
  6. Don't remember them funding their league and cup successes through the revenues of players they'd sold.
  7. ....apparently the whole idea of a football club. Please god can we sign Chris Samba.
  8. Oh well, we won't be doing it and that's absolutely fine by me.
  9. Because that would be retarded. Lallana was the second highest ever fee paid by a club as big as Liverpool, why on earth would we want to spend that kind of money? We won't and I for one am delighted by that fact.
  10. Yeah, man. Heads in the clouds and unrealistic people. Bring back the days when we were, like, going to totally be in the Champions league and stuff.
  11. Actually, you're right. We're relegated in May 2015.
  12. The position we are in now is that we don't kick a meaningful ball for two months.
  13. I look forward to this thread being dug up in September.
  14. Clearly not. Otherwise these players would be desperate to get away to Aston Villa or West Ham. They're not, they're signing for the biggest clubs in the world.
  15. He has behaved like a petulant child. The "dream" you refer to was no more than that - pie in the sky that only a fool would believe. Have fun on the Liverpool forums.
  16. Makes you wonder how all these football clubs around the world that haven't ever been run by Nicola Cortese manage to get anything done.
  17. What else have I said then?
  18. I'd say saying he could have handled it better as a pretty dispassionate assessment, but if you are that desperate to make a "you're crying you are" lame point score then carry on.
  19. I think you need to calm down. Plenty of us are simply saying he could have handled it better. That doesn't require table bashing "he did this..he could have done that" ranting from you.
  20. So on one hand you're saying the club should have just turned all offers down flat and not sold because they don't have to, but at the same time you support Lallana going on strike to force a move. So, how does that all work out then?
  21. I don't demand or expect loyalty. I fully expected Lallana to go and don't begrudge a man a career and more money etc. But Lallana has handled this very poorly and now looks like a total pri ck. Not because he has left, but how it has all been done. Anyway, we now have a newspaper advertisement to read tomorrow. How exciting.
  22. He is getting some appalling advice. Paying to take a page in the Echo reeks of arrogant "here's something for the little people" pigheadedness. Even just giving a short statement or an interview with the Echo would have been better but a full page ad from Brand Lallana? Seriously, turn it in.
  23. I'm giving them both barrels and going with "you're just a small town in Everton". Take no prisoners.
