  1. Ohhh what does this cryptic saying mean then? I'm assuming you might get superior swing on the ball, or is it simply that you're closer to the tea and biscuits at break time?
  2. And about half the price! What's not to like!
  3. Most importantly, you can now buy this. Perfect!
  4. Can you take your shirt and have the sponsor removed? Now that would be cool! I'm totally with @Saint86, the whole situation is a farce TBH. Sell the shirts for £30 each, launch a new home shirt one year and new away the next. Have a decent, ethical, sponsor. Job done!
  5. As popular as a shirt can be that costs £60 and will only be current for 9-or-so months!
  6. A kid at my athletics track the other day was wearing a West Ham shirt. I asked him if he liked James Ward-Prowse and his response was that he didn't like West Ham and that his dad makes him wear the shirt! I guess he's showing him some tough love!
  7. I always enjoy the stories of why they ended up supporting Liverpool. It's usually something like "My late grandad was a massive reds fan and I used sit on his knee whilst we watched them (on the TV)". It's like their way of becoming immune from being called a glory hunter as you'd come across as a heartless *~#tard if you did that.
  8. The amount of Liverpool shirts you see in Devon all year round is mental. I did laugh the other day though, as there was a boy (who was probably 10 years old) wearing a Man City shirt and sporting a perfect mini Haaland hairdo.
  9. What a day that was! Down and out at 3-1 down then that last minute winner!
  10. The bar has been raised, you just need to raise it even higher!
  11. Laughing emoji added just to spite him (and because it was bloody funny)! 😅
  12. Yup would look much better with the sponsor removed. Would definitely buy if they made it available as I don’t buy the actual kits anymore.
  13. Interesting! He looked decent to my untrained eye, but then I though Piroe was going to make the difference for Leeds last season!
  14. Second most goals, but yes he was brilliant last season. I wonder if we've considered a punt on Szmodics?
  15. It's not necessarily the same people complaining though is it. Pretty much every kit will always divide opinion, that's always been the case. In my humble opinion, nothing will ever beat this beauty...
  16. Southgate. Very, very, decent bloke who did far better than I expected (and many give him credit for now). Whilst some are labelling him a loser I think the foundations that he's helped put down will benefit the next manager and may just contribute to any future success that they oversee (a bit like how Nigel Pearson definitely deserved some of the recognition for Leicester's title win if you may). Wish him well and could see him at somewhere like Newcastle or Villa next.
  17. I'd much rather we had great players wearing a horrible kit than the other way round. Of course, we outdid ourselves two years abo by having horrible players and horrible kits. Downes is definitely a step in the right direction!
  18. They sound like the Mason Holgate of gambling companies.
  19. Totally agree, and absolutely not his fault at all. I expect he'll be more devastated than anyone about things. Until we nail this critical aspect we will always be doomed to fail.
  20. The thing I was really gutted about was the lack of meaningful output from Phil Foden. The guy's a world beater at Man City, and an absolute joy to watch, but he barely flickered in Germany. So disappointed for him as I really thought this was going to be his tournament.
  21. Yup, you’re quite right and there’ll be Tottenham, Newcastle, West Ham fans etc. all having the same conversations tonight. There’s no doubt than England’s failings over the last 50 years are vastly greater than ours, yet they seem so relatable.
  22. Sorry pal, but in the eyes of most we’ve won nothing in nearly 50 years (just like England).
