It wasn’t all great back then. The Pony Dimplex kit had that horrible, thick, fuzzy monstrosity on it that was a haven for pet hairs and the like. It was also so rigid that it made you look like Mr Square.

I have all the season review videos and DVDs that they produced between about 91/92 and 05/06. Used to get very excited when they arrived!

Bit like when Boufal won goal of the season, great effort but he did little else of note during the rest of the season.

To be fair, having a silhouette has been a bit of a blessing this past year!

I can't decide whether our failure to sign a proven striker or goalkeeper was our biggest error last season. Both totally inexcusable, both had grave consequences.

I guess what I'm saying is that Forest might be the type of club that would be willing to stump up the kind of money we would demand (they have form for it, plus are paying Lingard an absolute fortune in wages). I'd personally like him to stay, but not convinced there's much chance of that.

Forest perhaps might not be a bad shout for him?
