Not sure I agree. We were clear favourites for relegation when they signed so it would have been suicide to sign them on huge wages. I suspect they were either signed with the 40% reduction clause, or on modest wages but with a bonus if we stayed up.

I personally don't see Potter as being unattainable and would definitely like to see him come here. There's probably more chance of someone like Vieira though I reckon.
