  1. So I’m pinning it all on the away top! Yellow please!
  2. You are right though, it does look a bit like one of those football kits you buy from a magazine, where you can purchase it in any colour with the same design, and I mean any. I think the Killies fans like it as it looks traditional and how they envision how it ‘should look’ blue and white stripes. They were not happy with the collar, but more because it had red on it 😂
  3. The Killies fans up here love it.
  4. Was a truly amazing end to the game. they have a very weird set up for the playoffs in Scotland though. I follow the Scottish football very closely, and having been along to Annan quite a bit was happy to see their promotion. As well as Carlisle my home city now. Shame Saints screwed it all. 🙄
  5. What a Cnut. I’m all for rivalry, but that’s just plain nasty. Keep it at banter!
  6. I only buy training tops for the gym anyway, so not fussed what the first team kit is like. Now what does grind my gears is not putting the proper badge on said training tops, but have some kind of silhouette of the badge. This is not just something SFC do of course, but I will not buy anything without the proper crest on it. As you were.
  7. Seemed to take a long time from November to the inevitable confirmation in May. Looking good for an old northern saint, with the possibility of 10 away games. On the map all club down to and including Stoke. New away grounds for me will only be Rotherham, Preston & Hull. Looking forward to the fixture list and the new season already.
  8. That’s the magic of the FA Cup right there. 🙄
  9. Blackburn away please.
  10. Get your mortgage on it. 1/50 on sky bet.
  11. If he does get sacked it will be because of his/the clubs failure to secure a striker since Danny Ings left. It is not as though the signs have not been there since this happened and the failure to replace him will be his downfall. Now we’re his hands tied or did he not bring enough to the table for a replacement. I would suggest that the club need to take a long hard look at themselves, but of course the manager will take the blame. I believe the reason for many scouts leaving will be that they have been ignored with their transfer targets. The team are still playing for him and listen to ever word when called to the sideline. I do not believe any rumours that say he has lost the dressing room, that is tosh. Also the stats are always the same, if you look today it is a lack of striker the chances at important times in the game that were wasted is unreal. I feel sorry for Ralph if this is the true. He has done well with his hands tied, we play good football and try and play the right way, when we can all see we are lacking a quality striker. I cannot see anyone else doing a better job than Ralph without getting a sticker. . I truly do not think a new manager will keep us up, but the signing of a new quality striker will. Are the club going back to the joke days of Lowe.
  12. Also the media and on here keep going on about lack of clean sheets, but we are hardly shedding goals by the bucket load (Man City & Spurs away aside. We tend to just let the 1 in. If we could just notch in a few more. Conceded 1 in a game - Leicester, Man U, Chelsea, Villa, Wolves, West Ham, Arsenal. 7 out of our 11 games. But only scored 6 conceding 7 with 3 being 1-0 defeats. Conceded 2 in a game - Leeds & Everton Conceded more than 2 - Spurs & Man City. I would say we are hardly falling apart and I believe the owners can see this. We have a really new squad of players that are not far off getting it together. It is not like we are getting battered every week. Yes we need to score more and need to be winning more game and hopefully this will start again on Saturday.
  13. Me. We tend to go through long spells of being naff and the pin looking good. I can see the team coming together at the moment with the added key players returning, it’s look good. I thought we would beat West Ham and Bournemouth and lose to Arsenal though, but 4 points I thought would be respectable.
  14. I would love that magic bottle.
  15. I do like a good glass of red!
  16. I have a feeling we will get at least 4 points. It seems to be what happens with Saints over the last few years. Good run, absolutely rubbish run, and then we go again. Would not be surprised if we were 6 points better off come Wednesday night. COYR! I may be on the wine!
  17. I think Stuart Armstrong will return to Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
  18. I have just been sorting out the attic and opened a bag with all my Saints tops in. I did not realise how many I had, but also unsure where my Denmark style one has gone with number 9 on the back. But still not bad considering I stopped buying them a good 7/8 year ago. Also been through lots of other Saints related programmes and fanzines. Thought it would be good to post in here. Would love to see some of the old stuff you lot have knocking around the house! 😊
  19. Yeah more likely to be Newcastle which is 1 hour away, but we do go to Carlisle games, which I would prefer him to support, but it just does not compare to the atmosphere of a premier league game for a 10 year old.
  20. I’m going with the boy. Went last season and expected feck all and we got a point, and maybe should have, could have won. I am not expecting anything but a sound beating again. I just hope Ralf gets them mentally prepared, as we cannot cave in. For me it is about going to a game with my boy, but he is a 10 year old coming on 11, who has a lot of City fans at school, so hoping that I do not lose him to a big club 😞. My main concern that is apart from his first game a 0-1 win at Sunderland in 2017, he has not seen us win, and does not remember that game. The latest have been Everton 3-1 Saints Newcastle 2-2 Saints Man City 0-0 Saints Saints 1-1 Spurs Villa 4-0 Saints Wolves 1-0 Saints at least he went to the playoff final and saw the women win a game 1-0. We are fully expecting a 4/5/6 - 1/2 score line, but as I said, it’s about the 2 hour journey down, getting lunch, watching football together, but just need a Saints win to cap off a great day with him. I really do fear him becoming a City fan.
  21. The gamble did not pay off. It was bold and I have the feeling that was his last throw of the dice. I think it would be a good time to make a change, as I feel we have gone backwards in the last 3 games. It’s a shame the Poch is well out of our reach, but with what we are ‘trying’ to achieve in the way we want to play, our young team and the way Poch likes to encourage academy players, I think he would be a great fix, but cannot see us pulling that one off. Make the change now, but do not replace until after City away. City away can be a free shot, nothing to lose, and then bring in the new manager on the Sunday or Monday. I am very sad that the manager we have had for nearly 4 years cannot move us forward and the last year we have stalled massively.
  22. Tella scores again for Burnley.
  23. Thought this was a nailed on 0-0. We need to come from behind to win again.
  24. Oh well, at least we scored 🙄
