Ian Brown at Somerset House, the first time he played Stone Roses songs at a solo gig, and the whole place was jumping!! What a day.
-
How did I forget this gig in 2008, I went on the Saturday as well played in the round, and Led Zep oh my god what a gig!!
-
Would have loved to have seen Queen, just a little but before my gig days, but not far off!!
-
Blimey how did I forget about this, a dream come true and my 8 year old daughter went to see them at Reading Festival. Was fantastic and did not think i would get to see them ever!
-
Yes I did here that one, then they all told him they had had a pie! Just before the Adkins interview where he called us S****horpe, and said a club our size should be in the 10 ten of the Championship.... premier League. Ha ha ha.

If we have a group like this can they not be around through thick and thin. Meetings every month. I still think there needs to be a group to bridge the gap between the club and the fans. Do not need to know everything but just to put points acrosss and share ideas. After all we are customers as well as fans of the club! Everytime things are not going well out they come. I expect the club will sell up after 5 year plan is up or when we reach the promise land, but that is football and football club ownership!

No way they are morons!
-
All football fans of all clubs are like this. You listen to Arsenal/Chelsea and even Man U fans complaining about the way they play, and even heard some say it was time for Sir Alex to move aside now his better days have gone!! Football fans a crazy!!

Any goals, any points?
-
I do not have any, as I do not really know what has and is going on at the club, just media reports. I think he is a good businessman and wants the best for the club, but I am not sure if he is or isn't going about this in the right way!
-
5 year plan and all that ********!
-
I can see this going one of two ways, the players make up and winning a few games this will probably happen, or we ship out the ones that do not want to play for us anymore and replace them. the problem with this is that we will have to go through the gelling process again and I really do not want another season in league 1. Also this means we will have to go up pretty much back to back promotions!!
-
We have created plenty of chances though, just lack sharpness in front of goal for some reason!
-
I know this is probably not true, but it seems when any other clubs get a new manager they get off to a flyer if it is during the season and the club has had a bad run. Not sure on the stats for this, but it never seems to happen for Saints like that. I am sure the last time that we won a game with a new manager (there have been a few) was Alan ball? I went along to the game last night expecting things to turn around, and get off to a flyer and go on a bit of a run, but came away thinking 'What a mess' after the second half. I think it must be something to do with the fact that everyone see's it as a clean start and are out to impress the new gaffer, so why does this not apply to Saints?
-
I think the whole team need a shake up, but will give it a few games to put right. He has great ability but everyone seems to have lost there way a little over the last few weeks. I am sure we will come good.
-
I think that we need to stick with it and hopefully the form will change. With a bit of luck last night and taking the lead I think we would have won that game. See where we are at the end of October, but I am staying calm until then.
-
Time to accept that it is unlikely we will go up
Dr Who? replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
Do not agree at all. Agreed we need to turn the corner but string some wins together and we will be right back in it. Did not start winning last season until October with minus 10 points and still nearly made it, and still had some very patchy form along the way. -
If he can get fit and get a couple of goals there would be no stopping him!

I live 38 miles away... you in Royston. It was not you in that ****ing truck that would not get out my way ha ha ha

We look completely toothless in front of goal, but managed to stick 4 past Bristol Rovers, and I really did think our season was off and running, but for whatever reason things changed 48 hours after and things have not looked right before the Bristol Rovers game or after. I really cannot work out why, and it is not the supply as we had plenty of chances and some of the shooting was woeful. The chances are there, but even in the first half we were over doing it when we should have shot earlier. The second half well do not get me started, should have gone home after my half time coffee!!
-
What happened in the second half? We lost our shape completely and were playing like it was the first time the players had stepped on the pitch together? Completely fell apart! Puncheon was terrible, and lambert had one brilliant shot in the first half after he got ****ed off because he did not get a throw in!! I think he should get ****ed off a bit more!

0-3 at 70 minutes and I would be more confident!

Well that ended that thread then in a mass depression!! ha ha ha

MUSE Wembley Stadium. This was the 5 time I have seen them, and it was the best gig I have been to ever. OK I say gig but it was more of a show. I have to say they took my breath away. Best gig was The Subways at the joiners when they first came on the scene... along with Razorlight at Southampton uni. What is the best gig/show you have been to?
