  1. Mainly looking grumpy and/or sleeping!
  2. On train back to London. Few WH around. Great result, great performance - Jos, Fox, Deano, Chaplow, Connolly stood out for me, top effort all-round though. Don't even mind the dry train, well, not much...
  3. Too much negativity on here guys. They may well be our toughest test yet, but we are theirs too. 5 home games, 5 wins, 15 goals scored. A packed fortress St. Mary's, we can do it, we will do it - Come On You Saints!!
  4. Waited around to see them last night, and again for an hour or so this morning. Nothing. At least we got mentioned on R5L tonight. Claridge said he got stick yesterday at the match for never mentioning us on TFLS.
  5. One footnote to the Leicester game, which may have been mentioned before, but did anyone notice how far away the bloody referee was for their third? - watch it again. No way he could have seen the foul on Lambert. I know Adkins is not one for whinging (which I like), but thought he might have mentioned that. Awful piece of refereeing.
  6. Sounds like we threw the kitchen sink at them second half and deserved a draw. Shame to see th 100% and unbeaten record go, but in some ways may help us pressure-wise. We know we're good enough to be in the frame for promotion this season. Brighton and Poyet will no doubt be cocky as hell about being top and unbeaten...
  7. Pathetically fickle fans, and a small ramshackle club. Also noticed Blackpools gates have halved. Clearly lots of JCL's last year.
  8. Sensational win - despite the early 2nd half wobble. Some of the forward interplay was superb. Morgans chipped pass for the fourth was sublime. COYS!
  9. So, essentially you want us to wear the Stoke kit, rather than the Saints kit?!?
  10. Agreed. The absolute winner, without a doubt. End the thread now and start singing.
  11. Like it. Or how about even further back, and a nod to a great classically versatile Player of the past, Nick Holmes (to the tune of The Blue Danube) La la la la la Jack Cork, Jack Cork La la la la la Jack Cork, Jack Cork (ad infin)
  12. Looking for an issue that isn't there...
  13. Re Huddersfield kit - me too. That in red and White would be perfect.
  14. let's hope not - they look horrific. Memories of that awful (two game) European kit Lowe tried to fleece people with.
  15. My god that is AWFUL! Looks like he's wearing body armour.
  16. I'm sure he is! He's just negotiated an intensive and highly pressurised run-in. That he's done it with - on the face of it - comparative ease, keeping the team focussed and professional, is to his great credit. Enjoy the (brief) rest Nigel, you've definitely earned it mate.
  17. Poyet will love that!
  18. Great for him, though the cynic in me suspects he's in the 40 man squad to get a bigger crowd at SMS and will then be left out of the Championship squad. Maybe he'll "do a Le Tiss", play a blinder, score a hat-trick, and make it impossible to leave him out. Oh, hang on...
  19. Back to red and white stripes, but I'd keep a sash kit as the away or 3rd kit. I love the current kit, and it will always remind me of a great season.
  20. Brilliant job, and a top guy. Let's let him know what we think of him next week. His job can't be underestimated, and I think he's used the squad brilliantly in the last few weeks. Let's hope he's with us for a long time. COYS!
  21. Respect to Huddersfield, it has been an almight fight, and their run is incredible. Credit to Lee Clark and his team - played great football, and have been incredibly mature and magnanimous. Check out this on their forum - they could have been bitter about it (like Mr. Poyet & Co), but they arent' - just congratulating us. http://downatthemac.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=56527&page=1 Am a Terriers fan for the play-offs. Bompey can **** off.
  22. Fantastic day... can't wait for Saturday now - it's going to be one hell of a party!!!
  23. Superb, never seenthat before. Classic.
  24. Counting no chickens, but I definitely want Huddersfield to win the play-offs if we get promoted automatically. They deserve it, and I've been impressed with Lee Clarke's maturity (who I never really liked as a player), and their fans - having read their forums. Such a contrast to Poyet and the Brighton fans.
  25. Not that nervous actually - seen a real determination and belief in the team recently, and I think we'll do it. Not saying i'll be easy, but I do think a win is very achievable today. More pressure on Plymouth really, this is their last chance, we have one more...
