Has anyone asked themselves if Pompey are up for it? A lot of the players in our squad have experienced a loss in South Coast derby game, the skates don't..... I'd be asking ourselves are the skates up for it? Are they gong to, as the skates will no doubt tell us, going to put themselves on the line for the club or will they treat this just like any other game?

This... The amount of times I have walked away from st Marys and been absolutely BUZZING at the sheer scale of some of our performances is innumerable... We just seem to be able to go up a gear when needed. Brighton did a job on stiffling us and making it awkward but when we score we're almost unstoppable. The problem seems to be we seem to be almost in denial of how good we are at the moment. Perhaps if we talk ourselves down a bit it won't hurt so much when it all goes wrong as we all seem to be convinced it will... Perhaps it won't... Perhaps this time it'll be us who have that season of a lifetime... This is the best football of not just one generation but two... I'm 46... some of the best, most consistent football of my lifetime..

After the thread asking for the best goal scored at St Marys I thought I'd ask what's your favourite non goal scoring moment? Not every magic moment has to result in a goal.... For me there's numerous Adam Lallana moments that just get your off your seat but it has to be Ricky Lambert's volley against Boro. Brilliant build up, stunning poise and skill. What's yours?
