Mr Saints

This commentator is shocking. Almost as bad as our performance.

Some managers and clubs just 'click' and he certainly clicked at Saints. Best manager since Lawrie without a doubt.

Barnard - Even in a brief cameo on Saturday, Tranmere couldn't get near him. Fantastic movement and has an excellent first touch.

They are well and truly obsessed with us.

If true, yet another setback in trying to get out of this poxy league.

To be fair, they have been waiting about 60 years for a big day out at our place and they've had 2 in the space of a couple of months. Probably a bit over-excited.

Well aware I am sounding like an arrogant arse but 1 all at Yeovil a good result? **** off is it a good result. Players need really need to pull it out the bag in the coming weeks/months cos this is nowhere near good enough. Someone needs to remind the players that sitting just above the relegation in the 3rd tier is not good enough for Southampton Football CLub

Congrats to Nigel Adkins. Sounds like Kelvin saved us at the end. Roll on Tuesday!

As well as the obvious missing pace and cutting edge going forward, this club needs a genuine leader on the pitch. We've been crying out for one for years now and manager after manager has not taken action. Let's hope Adkins does.

Did Howe say anything post match on Solent yesterday. They usually give 'Chrerries' four times as much coverage as us and Skates so I'm guessing it cropped up.

Welcome Nigel.

Do you have a contact at the club or just make it up?

OSM - Overseas manager? Sort of fits!

Whoever is appointed, Les Reed can **** off. Who the f*ck is he to have a say in who manages my club.

Well put.

This is woeful

Eddie Howe would be an excellent appointment. That is all.

Solent talking in detail about the Eddie Howe link. Howe with the usual "no comment"

He's playing this evening. And why would he want to play at a lower level?

I remember when Sky 'sources' were convinced Paul Ince was our next manager, 2 days later Nigel Pearson was appointed.

Pardew to West Ham in a couple of weeks is more likely.

The Daily ****ing Echo is the last thing on my mind this morning.

Eddie Howe please

I reckon 4 nil at full time. They sound like they've completely lost their discipline.
