  1. Should of won, had so many chances but alot of things didn't fall for us whereas in recent weeks the breaks have gone our way. Trotman and Hammond (probably carrying a knock) were below par. Out of the 64 corners we had, James floated 63 of them harmlessly towards the penalty spot. I would get Harding to take them and whip them in with his left peg. Lambert's goals were different class, the second one wouldn't look out of place in the Prem. Connolly came on and made a big difference, what he doesn't have in pace he more than makes up for with his touch and fantastic movement. It will be a frightening partnership when they get a run of games together. Fantastic support and we're obviously moving in the right direction.
  2. Leaving shortly, the most I have looked forward to an away game for a long time. Probably since the Pride Park play-off game. COYR!!!
  3. Kachloul - Le Tiss said in his book he was offered a contract to quite easily become our highest paid player at the time on 14k a week, Villa then offered him 28k so its quite obvious why he left.
  4. Reading are Saints last year. No money, young squad, pretty football with no end product and an inexperienced manager.
  5. If you can't score against Hull, it means you're going down. Lower end Championship size club back to where they belong.
  6. "I thought we matched them for the first 10 minutes" Well done mate.
  7. They have about 16 fans.
  8. I love football. Pardew differrent class, superb decisions with the subs. Hopefully Reading will receive a phone call on Monday morning asking for Antonio's loan to be extended until the end of the season. COYR!!!
  9. Unfortunately, the number of 'rumours' that have appeared on that message board and have actually happened is zero.
  10. I think the bloke who presents it is pretty good, ten times better than Lineker. Claridge is a ****.
  11. I heard Preston are going to offer £3 million for Lancashire and let Trotman stay permanently as part of the deal. Seriously, I hope Trotman will be here until the end of the season at least.
  12. It was a Premiership finish, fantastic composure considering he hasn't played a competitive game for over a year.
  13. Listening to Paul Hart makes me want to top myself.
  14. That's a shame, I am blond, Swedish and female but unfortunately I'm 27.
  15. Hopefully at 5 o'clock on Saturday we will still all love each other.
  16. Saints legend, good luck Jase.
  17. I'm not convinced we would of been able to understand what the Dutch clowns were talking about even if they spoke perfect English.
  18. Alan Pardew's red and white army! Huge relief to have someone in charge who knows what he is talking about.
  19. My suggestion... 'Papa don't pass, shoot insteadddddd' (Papa don't preach) No? Ok then.
  20. Live in Essex and just got back after a celebratory drink or two. Superb TEAM performance tonight, the big difference from last season is we actually have some balls about us and players are willing to stand up and be counted right down the spine of the team in Jaidi, Trotman, Hammond and Lambert. Dominated the first 20 mins, if Lallana had put away a great chance at 1 nil it would of been an absolute cruise. However, after conceding the equaliser the heads didn't drop and the killer goal just before half time meant we could relax in the second half and hit them on the break which we did very well with Papa and Lallana. Superb away following and according to Southend fan I spoke to afterwards, 'the best at Roots Hall for a good few years.' Onwards and upwards with Pards!
  21. It's been a long day, that should of been 'era' instead of error. But yes, signing a player that had moved 3 or 4 times by the age of 24 and played about 10 competitive games in his career before failing to get even close to the first team in a year does go down as an error in my book whether it was a freebie or not.
  22. Another link to the Lowe error slips away!
  23. Lesson to be learnt: Never play 4-5-1 at home against a league 2 side
  24. Davis nearly embarrased from the half way line.
  25. Davis for his loyalty as he could quite clearly be playing at a higher level. Lambert for his all round ability and work ethic.
