Would be a good appointment. Pards has done well in 2 jobs out of 3 (same as Strachan), knows the football league having won promotion with West Ham and Charlton. May come across as a bit arrogant on TV but I've met him a couple of times and is a good bloke.

Living up here I unfortunately know alot of West Ham fans and they all love Pardew, speak very highly of him. Obviously, Charlton fans wouldn't agree but he did well at Reading so could be a decent appointment.

If we start the season against Millwall with players like Pulis and Lancashire in our team, it will be another long season. Need to get in some strength right down the spine of the team ASAP.

I don't have any time for Hoddle. I am currently reading Dave Jones' autobiography and there are a few snippets in there that back up what I knew. The way he conducted himself when first taking the Saints job and then sodding off to Spurs at the first opportunity when nobody would have touched him with a barge-pole 18 months earlier was a disgrace, he also continuously treated our best ever player like a ****. I don't care if he was our club's best ever 'coach', I don't want him near our club again.

I have been critical of him for the last 18 months as he disappears when the going gets tough, HOWEVER.... He is Saints through and through and is the only player we've has since Bridge who loves the club in the same way we do. Have heard Keegan has 'verbally' agreed a deal if/when Pinnacle take over. But then again, the same source said Michael Tabor was the money man.

Just watched him on SSN... Doesn't suprise me that the idiots on here are slating him and Pinnacle to the extent they are. Reality check needed, it was never going to be Richard ****ing Branson. I was quite impressed with what he said, he came across fine and seems confident. Obviously, the big question is now whether they can turn these words into actions and complete the deal. But from what I saw, I would be more than happy with him providing the funding for Matt and a decent manager in order to get us back somewhere near to where we belong.
