  1. Another draw against another non league side, I know these games are mainly about fitness but Eastleigh and Totton have both had the same amount of time to prepare as us. Let's hope the Swiss invest in the squad because my god do we need it.
  2. 5 Live Sports news update - Marcus Liebherr is the man and the deal will be completed in the next 24 hours.
  3. 5 Live are talking to Dave Jones at the moment about his autobiography.
  4. Same old Saints, letting a goal in minutes from the end.
  5. Ramon Vega

I have been critical of him for the last 18 months as he disappears when the going gets tough, HOWEVER.... He is Saints through and through and is the only player we've has since Bridge who loves the club in the same way we do. Good luck Andrew, will be strange seeing you in another club's shirt but hope you make the most of the opportunity. Thanks for the service.
  7. We will never see a man of his talent dedicate a whole career to a club the size of ours ever again. The man is beyond criticism. Le Tiss is God.
  8. Have heard Keegan has 'verbally' agreed a deal if/when Pinnacle take over. But then again, the same source said Michael Tabor was the money man.
  9. Just watched him on SSN... Doesn't suprise me that the idiots on here are slating him and Pinnacle to the extent they are. Reality check needed, it was never going to be Richard ****ing Branson. I was quite impressed with what he said, he came across fine and seems confident. Obviously, the big question is now whether they can turn these words into actions and complete the deal. But from what I saw, I would be more than happy with him providing the funding for Matt and a decent manager in order to get us back somewhere near to where we belong.
  10. Please hurry the **** up, players are starting to move left, right and centre and we are stuck in limbo. The longer we leave it, the further we fall behind (if 10 points wasn't bad enough).
  11. Come on Tone, can't take much more of this!
  12. No, he's a **** and has ruined our club.
  13. Thanks for the update Tony, I hope the next time we hear from you is when you and Le God are officially running our club.
  14. FL = bunch of ****s. None more so than Mahwinney. Wnker.
  15. Aidy Boothroyd just been on Talksport. He said he is bursting to get back into football, has learned alot in his 6 months out of the game and was asked whether there are any jobs that would interest him this summer and he replied "there are 1 or 2 jobs that may come up which would interest me." Although he favours hoofball and would be behind Tisdale on my list, could be worth a go as obviously no compensation would be needed.
  16. Vic Reeves.
  17. Today's papers also saying West Brom are interested. If he was staying at Newcastle, surely it would have been tied up by now.
  18. If Le God will be overseeing footballing decisions, I would expect either Magilton or Dowie to be our manager next season.
  19. That is the best thing I have read for a very long time.
  20. I would think the reason to be grateful to Jackson/Salz and anyone else who was in the running is they have put in a huge amount of time and effort in helping to put together a bid (realistic or unrealistic) in order to save the club. They could done ***** all and sat back just hoping and praying like the rest of us. Personally, I don't care who buys us. I am just delighted we will have a club to support next season and for many seasons ahead.
  21. Rosicky was eager to play in the Prem, Strachan was quoted 12 million by Dortmund but didn't even follow it through with the powers that be as it was obviously way out of our price range. One week later, we signed Neil McCann for 1.5 million.
  22. Tim, 1. I don't believe there is a network called Southampton so people join the Potsmouth one. Therefore many of these people are probably from Southampton. 2. Don't know, Wotte seems like a ****. 3. They are the players Wotte has been looking at in his 'scouting' missions.
  23. All managers go to watch games during and pre-season, it's just not all of them keep banging on about it. Wotte talks a good game but can't back it up, hence finishing 23rd in the league.
