Aidy Boothroyd just been on Talksport. He said he is bursting to get back into football, has learned alot in his 6 months out of the game and was asked whether there are any jobs that would interest him this summer and he replied "there are 1 or 2 jobs that may come up which would interest me." Although he favours hoofball and would be behind Tisdale on my list, could be worth a go as obviously no compensation would be needed.

Vic Reeves.

What a ****.
-
Today's papers also saying West Brom are interested. If he was staying at Newcastle, surely it would have been tied up by now.
-
If Le God will be overseeing footballing decisions, I would expect either Magilton or Dowie to be our manager next season.
-
That is the best thing I have read for a very long time.
-
I would think the reason to be grateful to Jackson/Salz and anyone else who was in the running is they have put in a huge amount of time and effort in helping to put together a bid (realistic or unrealistic) in order to save the club. They could done ***** all and sat back just hoping and praying like the rest of us. Personally, I don't care who buys us. I am just delighted we will have a club to support next season and for many seasons ahead.

Rosicky was eager to play in the Prem, Strachan was quoted 12 million by Dortmund but didn't even follow it through with the powers that be as it was obviously way out of our price range. One week later, we signed Neil McCann for 1.5 million.

Tim, 1. I don't believe there is a network called Southampton so people join the Potsmouth one. Therefore many of these people are probably from Southampton. 2. Don't know, Wotte seems like a ****. 3. They are the players Wotte has been looking at in his 'scouting' missions.
-
All managers go to watch games during and pre-season, it's just not all of them keep banging on about it. Wotte talks a good game but can't back it up, hence finishing 23rd in the league.

Anyone heard anything regarding when this will all finally be tied up and we can start pre season? -
Is Le Tiss on Sky today?

Schneiderlin - Saints Biggest Waste of Cash Ever?
Mr Saints replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
At the time, and if it was on Arsene Wenger's recommendation (who when it comes to spotting potential is the best around) I would probably have gone with the French teenager. Shame it hasn't worked out for him but he's still young and will probably go on to fulfill his undoubted potential elsewhere. -
Schneiderlin - Saints Biggest Waste of Cash Ever?

Arsenal paid for most of his fee so don't worry about it. (Would prefer Wotton in League One) -
No, he talks sh1t and isn't very good at his job.
-
Great to see the passion of Marsden, Le Tiss, Benali, Beattie and even Mark Hughes crashing into tackles and running themselves into the ground (apart from Tiss!).
-
Surman is alright when it's going well and his team are 2 nil up and cruising. But when we're 2 nil down and we look to him to take the game by the scruff of the neck and show some bllocks, he's nowhere to be seen. 700k is realistic.
-
Maybe that is the consortium Le Tiss was leaning favourably towards on Sky on Saturday.
-
Does anyone actually know how close we are to 'something' positive happening? (Fitzhugh/Morph?)
-
Nothing stands out at all. It's been so ****ing depressing.
-
Wouldn't mind Glynn Snodin involved in the coaching staff in some way.
-
Jim Magilton. Saints connections and has a point to prove. If not, Ince.
