Completely agree Charlie. The more I hear from Pards, the more I realise what a disaster Poortvliet and Wotte were.

Would be a good appointment. Pards has done well in 2 jobs out of 3 (same as Strachan), knows the football league having won promotion with West Ham and Charlton. May come across as a bit arrogant on TV but I've met him a couple of times and is a good bloke.

Living up here I unfortunately know alot of West Ham fans and they all love Pardew, speak very highly of him. Obviously, Charlton fans wouldn't agree but he did well at Reading so could be a decent appointment.

If we start the season against Millwall with players like Pulis and Lancashire in our team, it will be another long season. Need to get in some strength right down the spine of the team ASAP.

I don't have any time for Hoddle. I am currently reading Dave Jones' autobiography and there are a few snippets in there that back up what I knew. The way he conducted himself when first taking the Saints job and then sodding off to Spurs at the first opportunity when nobody would have touched him with a barge-pole 18 months earlier was a disgrace, he also continuously treated our best ever player like a ****. I don't care if he was our club's best ever 'coach', I don't want him near our club again.
