Hull 0 Saints 1 - Post Match & MOTM Poll
Killers Knee replied to Glasgow_Saint's topic in The Saints
a tough win, Davis MoM. -
must have a dodgy stream as I swear i've seen this match before, its the one where we dominate possession in the 2nd half, have twice the shots but score the same amount as the opposition, yep, deffo seen it before.....

CB to replace/cover DL, then creative MF to replace/cover AL, then CF to replace/cover RL. All new purchases to be better than our best player in that position.

Pretty much agree, the >£40m warchest can be funded through the sale of Shaw, Osvaldo and wages saved by letting 20 players go. Only in the next window will we know. The prize money diffrence between finishing 10th and 7th is about £2m, economically not worth new signings when we have the academy option. As for the FA Cup, thats more luck than skill.

We can still recall the services of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations Golden Boot winnner if needs must. I am sure SG will give a good account of himself, and I'm looking forward to watching his development. As for us making the club leaner by having a clearout, as long as SFC doesn't go the same way as the other companies Markus left his daughter, surely thats a good thing?

I like the look of Rhodes, but always thought his club were holding out for a whopper deal, as we are with Shaw.

May I introduce Seria B striker for Palermo, Abel Hernandez, meets all the criteria you state.
-
Agree that bringing in someone like Ings or Abel Hernandez would have been great. It appears we now have the rare opportunity to blood another couple youngsters in the most competitive league. We have offloaded the deadwood so we have either prepared the squad for summer signings by making it leaner, or its the alternative that we all fear. We will only find out in the next window. So until then enjoy the ride!

Does anyone have a link to this thread, honestly one of the funniest forum threads of internet history, needs to go in a book.

Looks awfully like he has employed someone to manage his Twitter account on his behalf.

Post Match Reaction: Sunderland 2-2 SAINTS

We were punished for our sloppiness in front of goal. Johnson completely owned Shaw throughout, Lambert looked like he was labouring with an injury. Gaston was extremely unlucky and looked a threat during his short cameo. We played well but our pathetic finishing cost us. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk -
I recall he played with an injury all the end of last season, maybe this injury is back or it is a chronic condition. Can't remember if his problem was knee or lower back. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

Match streams - any that are pretty safe?

There are a number of ways to secure your Windows machine from infection. The best is to use a virtual machine like VirtualBox, and install an OS on it. Use the browser inside the Virtual Machine to connect to streaming sites. If you run Linux or MacOS in the VM then chances of infection are very slim. If you run windows and get infected you can just recycle without risk to your actual computer. Its all free and easily done. Post Match Reaction: SAINTS 0-3 Chelsea
Killers Knee replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
We were totally outclassed by a far superior machine. They have arguably the best manager in the game and a squad that costs more than everything in the City of Southampton. We put up a valiant fight in the 1st half, Chambers, Lallana and Gaston looked like our creative threats and were unlucky with shots being blocked. Second half, Jose totally anulled the contributions from those three and we didn't look dangerous at all. At our current rate of development we are 2 or 3 years from having squad that can compete in the top 6. Our first team when fit is great, but with our tactics we will need a squad, as SAF implied in his post match interview last year at Old Trafford. -
As good as we are, we are a long way short of Chelsea's class.
-
Anyone know if he's even in the country?
-
If we can get a good price for "sickboy" then maybe not so bad, has to be north of £30m
-
Ramirez on for Lambert in the 2nd half, impossible to do any worse

Jos V Adabayor Dani Fox V Lamela Gazza V moving ball This is not something i want to dwell on. Thankfully plenty of beer in fridge and a new bottle of Black Label to ease the pain. Hoping for anything other than a humping.
