I've been or corporate days like Goodwood, Ascot, Twickenham (for international matches), golf, saints games. The occasional drink up abroad for a couple of days (broken up by a visit to a factory). Not like it used to be though, in these times of austerity.

I've worked on a few I always find the time/cost problems stem from both of them being set by people or parties who have little experience in (or responsibility for) the delivery of either.

If i'm a member of the AEEU and i don't want to vote Labour, do i get a say in whether i want a union that represents me to use money (part of which i've paid) to fund a (likely unsuccessful) Labour election campaign.
