The club will have to sell their best assets (lallana, davies, mcg, dyer) in January or at least off load the big wage earners (rasiak, skacel, euell, john, bwp) to continue to get support from the bank. I refuse to pay for my gas and electric with direct debit. To me, it's effectively a way of the utility companies building up a potentially large amount of your money against future use of something that you may or may not use. ******** to that. My money is my money and i want it in my account, not some bastard utility company that can earn mega interest on it whilst putting up prices all the time. That said, last years combined gas and electric bills were under £775 for a 3 bed house with 2 adults and 2 kids of 7 and 3.

A decent site manager would get rid of the subbies, put the direct boys on a price and make sure they finished on time. although your QS should be giving you decent subbies in the first place........... Perhaps that's the way. I guess the young lads that currently make up the first team are on a small wage. Give them and the manager a big enough financial incentive and see how that works. If Dyer is anything to go by, they need a few extra quid anyway.....
