Humble pie for me regarding tonda, I thought he was a ridicolous appointment and total gamble when we brought him in. Even after good runs I thought it was more being carried by a good team but gotta say this last month or two he’s really starting to put his stamp on things tactically and is consistently adapting game plans and tactics to suit the opposition excellent stuff . We never looked anywhere near this solid under Martin even with the huge unbeaten run. Tonda is giving off the impression that if we do go up we can be competitive.

Dunno about recency it’s not like he’s just had a couple of good games recently he’s been great for months ever since coming in . Along with peretz these two have made a huge difference to our defense

Lol 6 points behind Ipswich and have them last game of the season .keep doing what we are doing and we might just pull it off

I think he’s been absolutely quality does he ever have a bad game? Personally I think I actually prefer him to KWP walkers peters looked good going forward with mazy runs but Bree gives you better defence and is more of a goal threat, personally give me that over a full back who plays like a winger all day

Such a underated star for us gives you a 7-8 out of ten every match, he’s solid provides a goal threat and pops up with important goals . Would actually have no worries iof him starting for us in the prem either .. we used to go for right backs who are great going forward like kwp but Bree is like a proper old school right back he makes you more solid first and foremost but also gives you goal threat

Think you could argue he’s been our player of the season even in such a short space of time. The difference it makes having him on goal over bazunu is just mental . All this good run we are having just wouldn’t happen without peretz

His dribbling style kinda reminds me of Eden hazard but more direct , love his diagonal runs off the ball too he should of scored when azaz routinely put him through on goal

Feels like the cats really out of the bag with him now, bbc commentators where gushing over him. We really need to win the playoffs it would be a shame to get this side taken apart

Yeah Loved broja when he was here was extremely fast for a big man I genuinely thought he was gonna be world class

Ideally I think we would all rather have a Rickie Lambert then just a lump up front enabling others is kind of second job for a striker

For me jury is still out on larin as well, we know he’s a good physical presence but whether he can be a high scoring clinical striker is still a big question

Yeah one of my biggest concerns over him staying is we don’t really want him being a distraction to sports republic to properly upgrade the position .imo we have really made a mess of the striker situation this season we are left with larin who himself was meant to be a back up. A injured Stewart and archer who is hardly even worth mentioning at the moment .. spors. Has made some good signings but you really cannot afford to not upgrade your weakest positions the failure to do this with cf and goalkeeper positions has probably cost us automatic promotion

Tricky call on what to do with Ross at the end of the season.. on the one hand he’s a decent championship striker when fit so for no transfer fee he’s a decent option when fit on the other hand seems like he’s having issues again having a player who’s only available for a third of the matches or less isn’t great, we are woefully short of quality strikers this season . think atm for me I wouldn’t mind if we kept him around but not as first choice striker don’t mind him as a option.

Think he’s a bit donkey like at times but he puts a shift in and and is a physical presence . Reminds me a little of che Adams tbh. I think we probably need 2-3 new strikers if we get promoted wouldn’t count on any of our current three

It’s almost like having our own Manuel Neuer this guy is top draw. Absolutely critical to our promotion push .. I’d take him over ramsdale next season tbh and I love ramsdale too .. can’t say enough good things about our Daniel ❤️

First half I thought we where great edozie looked a very good fill in for scienza and azaz was orchestrating things .Second half though we just struggled to get anything going not sure if it was game management but we seemed to give them too much respect in the second half. Coming back to this I think he’s actually done quite a great job with some of the recruitment scienza,Azaz,peretz, and jander have all been cracking signings. Also whilst I still think it was a hell of a gamble Tonda is looking like a decent appointment too . Overall I think spors is doing a better job then those before him

Do we have a option to buy with peretz? He’s not ever gonna be be first choice at Bayern so think our chances of getting him should be decent.. he’s been fantastic tbh what a difference it makes. Having a big imposing goalkeeper who makes saves and doesn’t just stand there to pick the ball out of the net like Baz

I think he’s maybe the best player I’ve seen in a saints shirt when it comes to through balls and defence splitting passes, he actually might be even more effective if we get promoted as I think when teams play a higher line it gives a lot more space to play these kinds of passes .. when teams play a low block it nullifies that part of his game

And didn’t he mostly play kinda right wing forward under rm and have almost 40 goal contributions ? Agree he’s not a dribbler like fellows scienza or edozie etc be he kinda makes incisive runs and was a constant source of goals assists . Also probably helps he doesn’t get bullied by cbs

It’s a lot more likely the atmosphere changed due to results being hugely improved getting in a decent keeper and finally switching to a back four like everyone asked for, don’t you think? also don’t buy this Armstrong being a bad apple he was top scorer in the league and always worked hard and ran a lot .

Everyone is taking this the wrong way way though, point I’m trying to make is if you put Armstrong into this side at right wing it would instantly improve us massively as fellows has been offering little to nothing and matsuki is way to slow .and we know he was a absolute goal and assist machine there from the season under RM. yes cf he’s too small to hold the ball up etc but I think it’s absolutely nuts if you don’t think he would put out a ton more goal contributions then what we have on the right wing

Really? The games that got tonda the job like charlton away he was immense. Plus he was a great option for two positions .everyone talks about how hard it is to sign decent strikers/forwards in January but doesn’t seem to stop us letting ours go people seem to be making stuff up to make them feel happier about it

Thank god we have Edozie. He’s been a threat pretty much every time he’s stepped off the bench since coming back in . Time to stop fucking about now he must start from now on. Massive player for us if scienza injury is anything serious
