Doubt they would drop the 15m all on a striker anyway it would just weaken us and be a total gamble as to whether they replaced him properly .. we already sold onuachu and replaced hm with Damion downs and he would have been the perfect big man everyone wants us to sign at this level.Paul is way better then Stewart and we could have really done with him in the championship

Is 15m really that much money for a 20 goal a season championship striker ? AA is pretty much guaranteed goals at this level and is versatile enough to play wide too and still score 20 a season from there .. it’s a new level of stupid if we let him go and would be writing off the season for a poxy 15 million

I think archer is actually a lot better then what we have seen of him. His finishing and technique is better then AA. His spell at boro showed he can be prolific at championship level but with us he just gets the odd start here n there or his minutes are coming from the bench . If he was at a club that’s starting him every week he will score goals

With all the doom and gloom of late 4 points from those two games is a start, charles is a big player for us .. providing tonda doesn’t mess around with the back four I think the team will start to look good

Bree and wellington look really solid and big upgrades at fullback. with Charles coming back into the reckoning and azaz and fellows now being freed up I to play their proper positions I think we could see another run of good form

Referee was definitely letting a lot go and it was turning into a pretty vicious match with rash tackles flying in everywhere at 1-0 up I guess you just want to see it out and not end up with players out injured. Spors was meant to be dragons attempt to clean up the mess from previous mistakes but his head should be rolling already. A lot of the better performances under him was decent counter attacking with quick breaks. It seems a combination of teams not letting that happen to them and sussing that out and now we are doing the total opposite and it’s back to the slow passing around he backline. I’m not sure tonda really has much of a plan at all though tbh even when we where looking good a lot of it was more inspired by scienza being in killer form

That good period was muchdown to cortese his decisions his appointments, when the club is run well from the top the rest follows .. even the Koeman period which some tend to discredit cortese with cos we improved, a hell of a lot of carry over was obviously still there the likes of Mitchell’s scouting combined with Koeman, les reed a great squad and decent assets all remained. Yes we did a goodjob replacing the likes of lallana lambert and pochettino. But its at least oartly still down to the cortese men left standing making those decisions I wouldn’t give much credit to kat and Krueger at all and since that we have just had one bunch of unambitious jokers after the other

Think it would probably be in our interests to offer him a new contract to be honest . He’s a guaranteed goal scorer at this level and even if we go up would then be better resale value if we wanted to cash in there is always gonna be a market value for such a prolific championship striker as long as he has time on his contract

Just because he was playing at qpr who wasn’t a great team doesn’t mean he isn’t a decent player. by that logic mlt wasn’t a top player because he played for a relegation battling side ? any player that is the best player for a championship club probably has a higher value then what sold Ronnie for its a no brainer deal for qpr and when they come to sell him will probably make at least 10 million plus on this deal .. just because tonda doesn’t fancy him doesn’t mean a great deal this is the same dude that’s been picking bazunu over McCarthy week in week out
