I think it's sad how everyone is so concerned what the "media" think. Just enjoy watching the team being second, who cares what a load of journalists (written and broadcast) think?

I absolutely hate golf and this dull spectacle of an event, but I asked the same question. Surely it's a win-win for the USA as if they win, they beat a "number of countries combined", but if they lose, no big deal as it took the whole of Europe to beat them. I don't get it.

Do be quiet you utter helmet.

Also - does anyone else keep pronouncing Bertrand as in Francois Mitterand?? It's annoying me as I know he's bloody English but I default to being French
-
This is it for me - I like Shaw, think he has MASSIVE potential, but we haven't missed him. Bertrand has been a great signing for us and also seems fairly level-headed and switched on, which isn't something Luke was blessed with. I do feel sorry for the lad at Man Utd though, although not at all surprised - just hope for his sake (and England's) he knuckles down and keeps improving. He obviously has the body shape that looks like he's overweight when he's not (like Rooney), so he'll need to work extra hard to stay lean. In my opinion.
-
They're obviously working on it though - have had a questionnaire about hospitality and why I go/what would make it better etc etc. So I think it'll be relaunched soon.

The full repertoire then!! (Although I personally don't like the car one, think that's a bit too much, but maybe I'm getting soft)

So for those of us who couldn't make it, how did Harry's reception go?

Pompey war memorial defaced with Saints graffiti
Patrick Bateman replied to Maggie May's topic in The Saints
It's shameful. No excuse, but probably a silly little teenager trying to be "cool". The further away we get from the world wars, the less respect and more dishonest people seem to become. It's sad. -
What relationship? They don't think he's as much of a d*ck as we do?

“Sixth of December,” Think he needs to speak to Ralph more, surely it should be "December SIX"

Robbie Savage apologises to Saints fans

Could not agree more. Some comments directed towards her (on here) were uncalled for. -
I thought the Liebherr version we did at Fulham was awesome ...

Summary: Ronald Koeman's pre-QPR press conference
Patrick Bateman replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Actually, just watching Koeman's conference, maybe I'm getting old, but I agree with him. If you look when the bloke was explaining about Redknapp, he winced when the guy said he will get grief - maybe it's time to focus on +ve support for the team? It didn't do us any favours two years ago after all. God, I've become old and boring. -

Where Redknapp, f**k me. "new car ... new car, yeah, new car, few problems, but got there in the end, new car... " C*nt. -

My god, I absolutely love this man. He just nails it, every time - he knows what to say, how to act, how to deal with the team, the fans, everything. -
Let. It. F**king. Go. Just enjoy the football.

Having worked just round the corner for 2 years, yes. It's okay, not a patch on this place; http://thecraftbeerco.com/pubs/islington/ (There is one in Covent Garden too, but I prefer the Angel one)

Someone "easy" please. -
What do I know. Forest have collapsed

Welcome to my commuting world. But why the hell did you go to the tourist hot spot before football?? Should have got the Northern line to Angel, drunk in some of the brilliant, MANY pubs (serving decent beer) and walked up from there ... or jumped in a cab. Hindsight and all that, but just seem a bit odd to bother with Covent Garden with rubbish beer, rubbish tourists and general tw*tty-busy-ness, before football.

Anyone else think we could be on the verge of something special?

Actually brings a smile to my face and I'm a miserable git.
