  1. This is my problem with the "internet" and why I don't read anything. All these blogs and simple articles, a lot of which contain appalling grammar. They're all rubbish and just an opinion that I could get from reading this forum or going into a pub and asking some random blokes.
  2. He sounds like a simpleton.
  3. There is also Watermark West Quay ; http://www.watermarkwestquay.com/design.aspx
  4. God they are sh*t.
  5. Not really, I just don't consider that a rivalry. I'd love a derby match with the fishy ones, which is why I'm glad they didn't go out of business. Have to hope they make a couple of rounds in either cup next year now
  6. I smell agents at work here ...
  7. Interesting point that. With Cork's contract situation not seemingly resolved, is he basically place-sitting for some younger members of the team? Surprised we haven't seen Reed much this season - not complaining, but we were starting to see more of him.
  8. Agree, I always thought it looked a bit Mackenzie or Bench.
  9. I had forgotten we had him - will be good to have him back, whenever that is. With him, Jay at some time in 2015 and Sam Gallagher to come back in, that's 3 decent young English players to bolster the squad again.
  10. I like this, it could actually be quite powerful if the data was used in the right way. Can you hook up to social media as a secondary measure to comments and build up that social graph? Especially Twitter. Also, one thing with the internet is that I bet that 99% of people don't realise just how many relevancy algorithms are running in the background and dictate what you see, what search results you get, what prices you pay and so on. So there may be a small aspect of how many of these articles have been seen by everyone and how many have been filtered by relevancy algorithms?
  11. Who actually watches adverts anyway? I watch on catch up or what's been recorded and fast forward the ad breaks. If I'm watching something like a sporting event, ad breaks are when I grab a beer, go for a wee, read an email - usually with the TV muted.
  12. Sturridge I think benefited from playing alongside the gerbil and is a good striker, but I do agree, on recent showings, Welbeck has suddenly evolved and looks a better player.
  13. Not really disturbing at all, they are very basic marketing segmentations. See; http://www.abc1demographic.co.uk/ You need to know your target audience when creating advertising, spamming with emails or phoning people up to cold call.
  14. Fair enough - I just wonder how much of this was in progress before he arrived? We know that Cortese, love him or hate him, had some mad plans!
  15. So, in theory, he hasn't been here that long, the "system" was probably being implemented before he arrived, he probably made a couple of tweaks and is the figurehead who presents a list of players at a monthly meeting to senior Management? He's also a line manager. Have I summed up his job spec? I'm sure he'll be replaced suitably, so like many others, I couldn't care less.
  16. Well we can't when he's nowhere near fitness.
  17. You really are in a minority with that one.
  18. As I've just said, there is an U21s championship next year, what better than to progress as a team, learning about team work and how to progress through the rounds in the championship? It's a valuable learning experience that is available to them, next year. Something that'll benefit them and the 'main' England team in the 2016 championships.
  19. Why can't you answer his well laid out points?
  20. It's a better route for them in terms of learning - they'd get even more game time and the chance to play in the U21 championship next year. How much learning would they get from doing well in that championship? Learning about the pressures and what it takes to progress through the rounds. Not to mention crucial team bonding. Other countries use their U21s a lot more, we definitely should, especially with the opportunity of next year. I'd also add Chambers to the list.
  21. Henderson was playing well last season, but he seems to have regressed. Shame as he was looking to push on - maybe he's just suffering a lack of confidence playing in a poor team that is under pressure?
  22. Sterling and Shaw should still be in the U21s!! Totally back Gareth Southgate asking for them to be in his squad, it'll make them far better players.
  23. Had forgotten about that!
  24. But I AM knowledge ...
