Hadn't been to Orient before, didn't realise we would have the whole of one side, support was awesome. Just got in, bit f**ked, brilliant day. LOved the little flats in the corners of the ground and the fact the kids in the one at the top to the left of us were joining in with teh Saints songs by the end, nice one! Thought we did well to weather a storm in the 2nd half, it was mostly them and we were being pushed to fend them off, if anything, our second was against the run of play, but it was a huge goal! We won without Lallana, we won under pressure and not playing brilliantly (Hammond was pretty terrible in all honesty) and that result really should inspire the boys to get up a league.

I thought "Tool". It's amusing that people still think they are a medium or a large and make their tubbyness more obvious. Because people are deluded about their size and kids buy them?

If the last 2 weeks are anything to go by, expect to get to Waterloo 3 hours later than planned and don't expect a train home again. SWT are more disgusting than ever with their slow speeds in reacting to "situations".

Seriously?? One of the best drivers this country has ever produced and never rated highly enough. His handling of a car is awesome to watch - love his review of the 350z when it came out (it's on youtube somewhere) ... which is the one reason I went out and bought one I'm ashamed to admit!! With Top Gear now failing slightly, I think they should use him more to do some trials/speed tests/decent (but fun) reviews and get rid of Hammond.

Honestly, I don't get why people care so much, it's a bit sad. So long as Saints aren't playing in a totally different colour (i.e. blue), does it really matter what variety/pattern of red, white and some black it is?? Most people who'll buy the replica shirts will be squeezing in to them anyway. Footballers are ridiculously slim/lean, so the shirts will always look fine, but the rest of us just look stupid. With ONE exception, when worn by a woman with nothing else on. (Okay, and [tubby] office workers playing five-a-side are allowed)

Sushi and Sashimi in this country is (generally) sh*t. It's not fresh enough and not good quality enough. The best Sashimi I've had was in the Maldives and in the US. In this country, Atami by Westminster is very good as is Nobu at the Met. Been to both of those a few times and enjoyed their fish. As for buying it from a supermarket, b*gger off. Nowhere near fresh enough - it's nice enough to cook though, obviously. FWIW, Morrisons fish counters are usually quite good and often as good as Waitrose ones.

Have to ask, why have children if you're not going to be at home to look after them and raise them? I just don't understand this. It's not as if most people who go use nurseries are poor either, the one near us is over-populated at 7am or so (with similar parents who don't care about raising their children themselves and building decent relationship) with X5s, Range Rovers, Q7s, etc etc etc. If you can't afford not to work full time, don't drive a £40k+ car, problem solved. There are always cut backs that can be made. I'll happily get rid of my car, dump my TV channels and buy less (expensive) wine and so on. Back to the original point; I used to walk and cycle to school. My secondary school was 5 miles away ... I was healthy (back then!).

No way!!!! Not another f*cking supermarket!!!! East Street was awesome, I used to love the Toy Shop when I was young, also Tandy was good and there was a really good music shop there too. I remember being young, possibly 5 or so and the place being really busy and my parents letting me buy a small toy in the toy shop. I also remember my parents visiting the weird tower block with the outside stairs ( http://www.yourlocalweb.co.uk/images/pictures/02/61/east-street-shopping-centre-capital-house-25422.jpg ) and buying a stereo system in about 1979 ... anyone know what shop was in there?? Is that building going too? Oh well, I suppose it is all a waste of space and a supermarket there would rejuvenate that area and East Street and encourage people to walk past all the small shops on that road ... not sure there are many left mind you!?

I don't know, but the trains to London from North Hampshire are rammed in the mornings. Standing room only on every single train until just after 8am. Paying well over £4k a year for a season ticket, sitting (if I'm lucky) in a very small, cramped seat or standing, with trains delayed EVERY SINGLE DAY is not fun. Makes me miss my driving commuting days ...

You're 30, right? The world is still at your feet - you have an awful lot of worldwide experiences to offer now and you've probably gained some fairly technical skills from the RN, am I right? Take the money, live like a student for a year or 2 and retrain. How much is a decent cost of living, say you spend £1500/month on bills and food and some going out, that's still only just over £30k in 2 years, leaving you with some other cash to spend on lessons/qualification obtaining etc. What do you really want to do? Many ex-forces become teachers (VFTT as an example). Many get in to IT/Technical Sales, many turn to Project Management in a lot of industries (I know loads in IT, although most are ex-Signals). If you're prepared for a couple of years of underspending, why not do it?? It'll pay off later, you'd hope!

If the guy wants to support Saints, so what? We've moved on to a better place now. He'll never be everyone's best friend, but then, I'm sure we all have people we aren't keen on who also Saints, doesn't mean they shouldn't go.

Okay, this may be a silly question, but I don't know the Geography/Physics involved. The earthquake has caused a tsunami, that I understand and why etc. I was looking at a detailed map of the tsunami's reach and it has the US west cost marked out for 9-10 hours. My question (I can't find an answer online, I am supposed to be working too!) is, does the tsunami's power diminish? My HQ is in Seattle, basically does that mean they'll be battered as well?

Exactly! I do like dogs, but they are a bit, er, dumb! Even the "intelligent" ones are only doing it as they'll get a reward. Dogs thought process; "can I eat it", "can I **** it", "can I fight it" >> much like modern man I suppose. But cats are cool, calculated and generally awesome creatures. I've had Maine Coons, which are brilliant cats. They are huge, actually more affectionate than other breeds and moggies and they are just generally brilliant creatures - I love watching them, especially pouncing on massive house spiders. Non-cat lovers are weird and normally have a chip on their shoulder about something. Fact.

I think it's daft then. Surely the whole point of a group of people being able to have lower premiums is that as a collective group, their risk profile is lower than other groups? So are we ALL to pay the same premium? Should I, a 35 year old man, living in the peace and quiet of the country, pay the same as a 17 year old from Aldershot, or a 75 year old who can't turn a steering wheel. It's a ridiculous ruling. That's a whole load of people who look at risk/analytics out of a job then, not needed anymore. We all have the same premiums. Okay I'm being really extreme, but it is stupid.
