PP*** yourself eric, couldn't happen to a nicer ****.

The Stag's Head. Only the one though, as I have training at 8.. It's annoying as I could have got a ticket, but by the time I realised it finances were a consideration. They'd better get through though, as I've budgeted for one more away trip.. Enjoy it anyway and tell the inexperienced kids like we saw on the Milan Metro that the lager is stronger and getting blatted and ****ing yourself is not a good look..

Well, obviously not minds around here. I had years living with a bidet, but hardly ever used it for its intended purpose. Maybe that's because I'm a clean sh****r and keep up me roughage, and had plenty of showers which can be equally fun.. Handy for feet mind..

Well, if I look down the list of threads that you have started I see a pattern. I could call it the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, or the Alpine Leading Question and You Inevitably Know Where This is Going Technique. The conclusions I draw I shall keep to myself, out of basic politeness. As for Hojbjerg, I think he's doing fine for his first season. A few mistakes, and occasionally he's surprised by the physicality and speed but I don't think that's a longer term issue.

Oh go on, I set 'em up and you can knock 'em in. But as you point out, it's an expensive way of not going through in the cup. They could have played the 5 players (not difficult, I imagine) and then just played badly. Nobody would have been any the wiser...
-
Gawd, I hadn't thought of that! Thanks for the detail, I'd only seen a general article about MoD infrastructure. The CCTV information came from someone in the general security industry ( not actually working there).
-
You could temporarily SORN it, I suppose?
-
So Portsmouth played a weakened side? As they seem to have a large squad for the division and play people fairly randomly it seems difficult to tell.
-
To be honest, both cities had the s**t knocked out of them, and neither have done much with the opportunities. In other Portsmouth Dockyard news there are problems with the infrastructure: the electrical lines to the new aircraft carriers are not up to scratch. (They could do better in Soton for the cruiseliners, n'all). The close circuit security system will have to be replaced as the Chinese manufactured cameras, from a state-sponsored company, have back doors...

Bet they're not jealous of Eastleigh either..

Ta. I know they have Sky, but not all telly pubs have BT so worth a check. Have fun in Prague - only learnt too late I could have got a ticket. Now to make sure they'll be later rounds to go to..
-
Is this on the telly? Just noticed that it's a 6pm kick off which means if it's on I can nip down the pub, have a couple of pints of lime and soda and still make footie training.
-
Just ask yourself, "What would hypochondriac do?". Scary, isn't it?
-
The problem with Portsmouth online is that there are so many er... special people on there that it's difficult to pick up if and when sardonic humour raises its head.. So what do we make of the comment regarding the potential 'takeover':
-
The first was given as an OG against their keeper.
-
I was just thinking there's a bit of quality in that line-up.

Hmm. a chance to go above Sparta then?
-
Thanks, I'll just have a scan down from here then, or can I use a read to justify a nice Barossa Shiraz? [Er.. not at this time of day.] Actually noted and agreed with your point about Puel's comments on Concentration and Intensity: perhaps trying to pace themselves over the season? I'm still waiting for JWP, Romeu or Davis to blast one in from distance (I'm assuming Tadic from short range..) to give teams something else to worry about, which was why Boufal's goal against Sunderland was so heartening. Oh well, it's a lovely day and I'm far more upset about the result yesterday of my women's team so I'll leave the depressives to it.
-
I've been out but heard the result. Is it safe yet, has Alpine vented and shown himself a twit again?
-
Yep, the last rainbow I caught was catch and release with a barbless hook. The one before that was very nice cooked in butter...
-
Just back home after staying the night in Southampton - no trains and there was no way I was going to watch and then celebrate that game without a drink or two... In my row we all predicted Tadic would miss that penalty, so maybe that's something we can easily change for next time - JWP or Austin. I thought JWP had the best game I can remember and really took on the responsibility of being in the starting line up. McQueen is improving with every game and so, amazingly is Romeu. Maya was a revelation (will we see Fonte again in this competition??), VVD enough said, for a third choice full back I'm glad we've got Martina but he does need a rest. Hojberg had a bad mid-game but seemed to pick up towards the end, he does win challenges you don't expect him to make. Austin appears to be getting fitter, and he's got immense strength and balance. JRod was certainly putting the effort in: whether game time will get him back to anything like he was before his injury is another matter. I'm busy now but later I shall be off to fantasise about who I'd like in the knock-out rounds!
-
I heard the locals asking for a Moretti before the game. I was going to follow them but then saw the sign saying it was alcohol free...
-
I think Martina lives in Chilworth but could ask my girlfriend exactly where. She doesn't follow football at all but politely intimated that she didn't think he was very bright..
