Yeah, and Perry's smile as he did so. End of his career and he gets to play at Wembley... aahhh indeed. -

AND some, mush. All the neutral seats seem to be Southampton. A more or less full Wembley for third division football, what an advertisement! Got quite choked looking at the panning shots. So glad our football game was called off this afternoon! -

Appreciated, thanks: the links shown on myP2P.eu seem pretty slow but any picture will do as long as it's reliable!! -
Ah yes, it's the final line of that paragraph which often gets ommitted in quotations. So HR is just giving his usual back end of a bull product.

Apparently, they can in the FA cup. Harry must be mad! http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/mar/26/protsmouth-harry-redknapp-tottenham What happens if O'Hara had a blinder and made all the difference. Neither Spuds fans or board would be very happy. Perhaps Harry owes Peter one, perhaps for keeping his mouth shut.

Lucky guys, those Pompey fans: they're going to be able to complete the 92 club in only 4 seasons. They then get to do the BSL as well.

Oh well, can't really afford it (Can I say I'm saving up for the play-offs;-)? ). We have an away game on Sunday and I'm teaching early in the week. It'll be one time when I won't mind not being in the squad even if I'll still be disappointed. But I'll put my Saints shirt in the back of the coach and confuse a few people. We've come a long way since I saw Saints stuffed away at Huddersfield earlier this season, and I'd so like to be in such a massive Saints crowd. The local Italians can't believe we get such big crowds in the third division.

Well, the only thing I know about betting (or investment) is that you don't chase your losses, which is exactly what Chanrai is doing. Who is advising him on player values ffs? I suppose they'll get _slightly_ better prices in the next official window but really... Raising money against future revenues, in the Championship, or worse, if the FL do their bit and a CVA is not agreed very quickly? I still can't work out whether Chanrai has been stitched up or he is trying to do the same to big G. Will G really relinquish control of his packets of land: also known as "ransom strips"!? Back to lesson prep, but this thread is compulsively fascinating. I'll be back.

On the Guardian match blog by Barry Glendenning, for the West Ham - Wolves game: "If Harry Redknapp was doing the same thing with Wolves, his many fawning acolytes in the press pack would be falling over themselves to insert their tongues in his rectum. What's more, the chances are that Wolves won't be a smouldering financial wreck when Mick [McCarthy] walks away." Hmm, people are becoming a lot more open in their comments...

Wind should come round to the NW end of the week and temperature drop so snow level should come down... at least my side of Mt Blanc. (Blast this rain..). I presume there'll be an internet feed, but Sunday is when I play footie so I might sign up to Saints player on a trial and watch afterwards.

Reminds me of a mate in The Kop at Liverpool: "yeah mate, we kniew yoiu were Southampton as yieuw were wearing decent shoes" - best done in a 'poool accent.

Keep a look out for the grey Fabia in northern Italy...it's one of the older stickers. Anyone want to send me the new one?:-) -
Ooooh. Next time I'm over in the Uk for the summer: a saints game or two and off to Towersey festival to play my whistle and flute I shall look you up. Buy me a pint in The Three Horsehoes or else!!

That Wes, is an excellent summary!

Yeah... 9.8% positive feedback....

Quite! I thought they already had been...

I'm with Chin Strain on this. I think many of us started off with sympathy, but Pompey, instead of trying to help themselves carried on digging in the hole they made themeslves. I think any original sympathy has evaporated away through this long, convoluted and criminal process. I think we just want the beast put out of its misery.

Heh.. The "Sir!" was to express my mock indignation. Some things are difficult to convey on t'net... Bum not too numb but jaw is as I got a ball full in the face yesterday. Nearly scored too. There we are: back on the football.;-)

Sir! My grandparents came from Eastleigh: Spike Island and Nutbeem Road. Gentlemen through and through, even if they worked on the railways and weren't exactly rolling in it! Anyway, off to pack my kit. In the squad for this afternoon and will probably get an injury: a numb bum from sitting on the bench all match.:-(
