Saints sign young Czech striker Tomas Pekhart on loan from Spurs
DT replied to Wildgoose's topic in The Saints
Just winding you up. I'm sure you're Kelvin himself anyway... -
I've said it about DH ever since he joined us, to constant howls of derision. You want to get out more.
-
He was excellent. Strode out of defence in the manner of a Hansen or (a bit worse) a Terry. Played it simple, and took the easy option most of the time, sign of a good defender. Really, really good signing. Things are definitely looking up.

all part of the Bale write-off? -
6 for Schneiderlin? Specsavers is that way. Excellent, and taken off to save him for future games. He bossed it and I'm only scared someone will come in for him, even this early. Surman was poor.

I haven't enjoyed a game at St Mary's so much for about five years. Now convinced we are on the right track. Hooray! Really good football, really good pass and move and we totally walloped them. A few points: I watched that berk Wright Phillips when we scored (he was warming up) and he did not even flicker. No emotion there, no happiness that we had scored, he just carried on stretching. We do not need players like him, Euell, Syer, Skacel at the club. The players who did play played like a team, and this is a massive, refreshing change. Long may it continue and well done Jan. PS K Phillips is a tit - loved the songs about his missus last night

Terrible player. Hoofs it. Very little ability. Return to the dark days. How would he fit in with players who can actually - gasp - pass the ball?

I prefer 'The smell of fish 2 - the sequel'

I am going to practice my walk up. I think I deserve to be in the ministry of funny walks.

Blackpool H WIN QPR A LOSE Ipswich H DRAW Barnsley H DRAW Doncaster A DRAW Norwich H Win 9 points. i wavered over the Norwich one as they're a bit of a bogey side if I recall correctly. The reason it is not higher is because we are due a Davis calamity soon and I'm a bit concerned about Killer's knee, which I forecast will go between Barnsley and Doncaster. Perhaps on the motorway.

I think we should give our youngsters a chance tonight. Oh.
-
Hence all his stuff about wanting to run the GB team for the next Olympics, for sure. I think he'll either go to Bournemouth or West Ham in place of Curbs. But like someone said, they've played Chelsea and Man U. Nice to see the gap being closer than for some time between us! And great to see my other detested clubs, Spurs and Derby, also winless. Long may it continue.

It is called managing expectations. ps if you forecast we will lose, and we win, it's doubly satisfying. try it!

edit...British Lions tour...strikethrough...SFC...strikethrough...monumental Olympian achievement, singlehanded...UPPER CASE UNDERLINE...Fluky world cup win...UNDERLINE... sports science...(this one works with those who think it didn't happen before me, hee hee)...Underline UPPER CASE Yours, Sir Clive Woodward ENC (Emperor's New Clothes) Inc PS can we please ban all talk of this charlatan on this site as it is not Saints or sport-related

To answer your question, 'Professor', I am very happy that we won. But I'd like to caution that, as always with this forum, we lurch between 'we are doomed' when we lose, to 'we are going to win the league' (with people offering latest odds) after winning 1-0 against a very poor side. If you don't understand that then I suggest you change your log in name.

We have beaten a team that hasn't won in almost a year and suddenly we are world beaters. Look out for the next dip in the helter skelter...
-
top result, and I can gloat to my annoying 'super rams' bro in law. more of the same please. however, very irritating of some on here goading our own fans rather than simply being happy we won. saddos.

Reading have called off a £2.5m move for Southampton defender Andrew Surman because they cannot strike a deal to sell James Harper to Middlesbrough. (The Sun)
-
They have locked their changing rooms already as a precaution.

Good job he didn't play for Sladiespartsthorpe

I cannot quite believe the asterisks i am seeing up there. What a stupid filter. I wonder if Dicckov gets through.
