Can we accommodate SRL & Osvaldo in the same team?
St Louis replied to doggface's topic in The Saints
My thoughts exactly! I'm sure our scouts/coaches/manager considered this before spending £15 million! -
These transfer fees are all to do with "supply and command"
-
Yes of course, that's what the whole article is based on... plus I went to school I meant with regards to the fanatical support Premier League clubs receive in West Africa.
-
Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, but I hadn't seen it and it made me laugh... http://www.standardmedia.co.ke/?articleID=2000089012&story_title=wanyama-will-make-pubs-hawkers-and-hookers-rich&pageNo=1 As a Saints fan who has spent some time in West Africa I can totally relate to the fanatical support you see out there, and it looks as though Kenya may be about to become a hotbed of Saints support!

Hi All, Just a friendly heads up here (and small grumble at the club...) I renewed my season tickets in Block 34 a few weeks back at SMS and requested a move nearer the halfway line to Block 31. I was told that no seats were currently available where I wanted to move to as they were still waiting on renewals, but if people didnt renew their ST's in Block 31 then maybe the 2 I needed would become available when they reached general sale. So I filled out the seat move request form at the ticket office, and was also emailed the same form the next day (bizarrely) but thought it wouldn't hurt to put a request in twice. Anyway... Long story short, the renewal deadline came and passed and no contact from the club to say I could move. Assuming I couldn't get the move to Block 31 I went to the Ticket Office today to collect my original Block 34 ST's. I said I assumed my seat move request was unsuccessful, only for the girl to fire up the seat map on the computer and find out there were plenty available, but the club hadnt bothered to let me know! So I got the move I wanted, right on the halfway line in Block 31! So... If you thought you'd been unsuccessful in moving seats, it may just be worth you calling the ticket office ASAP!

Higginbotham on life with Woodward / Joe Kinnear scenario
St Louis replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
For anyone interested in hearing the Kinnear interview... http://www.talksport.co.uk/radio/andy-goldsteins-sports-bar/130617/joe-kinnear-his-newcastle-return-alan-pardew-and-toon-media-199848 -
The sleeves will be white
-
That mock up is nice IMO, but as Rebel said earlier the sleeves are white (certainly are on the short sleeve) not sure how that will work on the long sleeve?
-
I'd guess that must be where the new Bar is going in?
-
Agreed! But sadly way too late for that!

He's not, he's a Spurs fan. Rod used to have a table in one of our suites (Mick Channon I think) in the early days at St.Mary's, and as a Hampshire resident and local business owner enjoyed watching the Saints (even though we weren't his team). 2 of his closest friends are Benali and Le Tiss, and since their relationships have soured with the club, Rod has distanced himself from the club a little and not attended games. It's a complete non-story really, he simply doesn't attend Saints games anymore as a result, and upon questioning has voiced his disappointment in the clubs treatment towards them. It seems most of us would agree with his thoughts too. Just a shame he mentioned P*mpey as a shining example of how it should be done! Source: Rod is a long term friend!
-
You never know!
-
That is exactly what he meant by the comments! He is a close friend of MLT and Benali, and shares their frustrations with the current 'regime'. I'm sure it was just a throwaway comment, and not about getting new members from the East!
-
He wasn't happy on the bench at City, so was loaned out. What makes people think he will be happy to sit on our bench and on a fifth of the wages?
-
You are right, he will be getting £95,000 a week when 'Arry gets his hands on him!
-
Sorry if this is a stupid question.... I am currently a Season Ticket holder, but am considering transferring my seat to a different part of the ground. Would that still make me a 'renewal' or would I be a 'new' buyer?
-
I would be very surprised if the design wasn't signed off months ago, so somebody within the club/adidas/marketing will have seen it and know for sure! I work for a marketing agency and we are working on the launch of AFC Bournemouth's new kits, and we saw them for the first time 2 months ago.
-
Are you sure you dont work for Saints and use the Dissertation line as a smoke screen? Only kidding, I have filled it out for you and best of luck with it all!
-
Maybe just on here then for ease...?
-
Noticed last night how difficult it is going to be to start a chant with the new gaffers name.... Should we shorten it to 'Mo Po' for linguistic ease? (Much like Spurs have done with AVB) Could we have a poll here?
-
Ive been trying to buy a couple of additional tickets for the Spurs game (28th) online, but any block I click on it says ZERO available. Am I just being a donut or has this game sold out? (or is the new all singing online system broken again!!?)

South American Footie Transfer Chat on Talksport NOW! Maybe they will mention our Ramirez saga...?

Sky Sports saying it's a done deal! Wahoooooo! http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7912170/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+skysports%2FCnFH+%28Sky+Sports+%7C+Football+News%29

Absolutely spot on! My feelings articulated better than I ever could! However, I am still more excited than I've ever been about a forthcoming season, so the glass is still half full for me!

If its any help to others, I got through on the 01271 number this morning and sorted tickets. Took about 5 attempts of getting the engaged tone, and was then on hold for 10 mins, but did eventually get through and all sorted! What a mess, but keep the faith!
