  1. Sorry I don't know how to share images, so hope this link works. Am I right in thinking this is Radhi Jaidi in a new training shirt, and it doesn't look like an Adidas one to me! Or am I completely wrong and this is a current top? http://instagram.com/p/nvTVtdFaZa/
  2. As much as I agree with you 100% and would love a return of this kit, I think next season will be too early for our (or Katrina's) thoughts to be heard. Through my job I work closely with the commercial departments of several clubs (not Saints admittedly) and the 3 clubs I work with all have their kits sorted for next season already!
  3. Apologies if this has already been shared, but I couldnt see it. Nothing ground breaking here and a very short 'interview' but I thought it may be of interest to others... http://www.thegamemagazine.co.uk/meet-the-pro/meet-the-pro-adam-lallana.html Interesting to hear Lallana say that everyone has been much 'happier' since MP took over.
  4. I dont think we will be Top 4 either, but could I have £2 with you please at 500/1? Just in case...
  5. Great read, thanks! Everything seems to be going so well at the moment, long may this continue. Jeremy Wilson (the journalist of this article and ex-echo) is a Saints fan too, so hopefully the positive Saints coverage will continue
  6. No problem, I work for a digital marketing agency. This event has many sub-summits: Leaders in Digital Sport, Leaders in Football, Leaders in Sponsorship, etc. So I'm here in a working capacity to learn and network
  7. He did. I recorded the whole thing, so ill try and upload it to YouTube later. On another note, I got to speak to Nigel Adkins in some detail last night. To sum up: - He misses being Saints manager - Loved every second of his time at the club - Said he understood the decision to change management (strange) and was really pleased to see us doing so well under MP. - Really pleased to have Billy Sharp at Reading as a top bloke and goal scorer, but he's picked up an injury straight away. - When I said 'Reading are a similar sized club to Saints', he said "I thought so too, but they are a lot smaller in every way"
  8. That's me in the front row (looking like I have my head on Cortese's lap) After the talk as Cortese was walking off stage, Gianluca Vialli started following him down the corridor and was shouting "Nicola, Nicola". He was desperate to talk to him, it was very weird... maybe he wants to be front of the queue when NC makes the next change, when we reach the Champs League
  9. Maybe he just need a 'Puncheon' then and had to rush off I'm certainly not writing him off, I' one of those that like him as a player. I think if we have been lacking anything this season its a bit more creativity and he can certainly offer that. Whether or not he should be a starter is what I'm undecided on though.
  10. I'm not sure if anybody else noticed this (and maybe there is nothing to it) but my friend and I noticed that after the Palace win, whilst all of the other players and subs were on the pitch celebrating and applauding the crowd, Ramirez just walked straight off down the tunnel on his own. Whilst JWP and the other subs looked delighted that the 'team' had won, GR showed signs that he isn't content to just be part of the 'squad'. Maybe I'm reading something into nothing....
  11. Agreed, it was as if it had been scripted!
  12. Agreed, it was as if it had been scripted!
  13. Think you may have missed the sarcasm in my tone!
  14. My thoughts exactly! I'm sure our scouts/coaches/manager considered this before spending £15 million!
  15. These transfer fees are all to do with "supply and command"
  16. Yes of course, that's what the whole article is based on... plus I went to school I meant with regards to the fanatical support Premier League clubs receive in West Africa.
  17. Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, but I hadn't seen it and it made me laugh... http://www.standardmedia.co.ke/?articleID=2000089012&story_title=wanyama-will-make-pubs-hawkers-and-hookers-rich&pageNo=1 As a Saints fan who has spent some time in West Africa I can totally relate to the fanatical support you see out there, and it looks as though Kenya may be about to become a hotbed of Saints support!
  18. Hi All, Just a friendly heads up here (and small grumble at the club...) I renewed my season tickets in Block 34 a few weeks back at SMS and requested a move nearer the halfway line to Block 31. I was told that no seats were currently available where I wanted to move to as they were still waiting on renewals, but if people didnt renew their ST's in Block 31 then maybe the 2 I needed would become available when they reached general sale. So I filled out the seat move request form at the ticket office, and was also emailed the same form the next day (bizarrely) but thought it wouldn't hurt to put a request in twice. Anyway... Long story short, the renewal deadline came and passed and no contact from the club to say I could move. Assuming I couldn't get the move to Block 31 I went to the Ticket Office today to collect my original Block 34 ST's. I said I assumed my seat move request was unsuccessful, only for the girl to fire up the seat map on the computer and find out there were plenty available, but the club hadnt bothered to let me know! So I got the move I wanted, right on the halfway line in Block 31! So... If you thought you'd been unsuccessful in moving seats, it may just be worth you calling the ticket office ASAP!
  19. For anyone interested in hearing the Kinnear interview... http://www.talksport.co.uk/radio/andy-goldsteins-sports-bar/130617/joe-kinnear-his-newcastle-return-alan-pardew-and-toon-media-199848
  20. The sleeves will be white
  21. That mock up is nice IMO, but as Rebel said earlier the sleeves are white (certainly are on the short sleeve) not sure how that will work on the long sleeve?
  22. I'd guess that must be where the new Bar is going in?
  23. Agreed! But sadly way too late for that!
  24. He's not, he's a Spurs fan. Rod used to have a table in one of our suites (Mick Channon I think) in the early days at St.Mary's, and as a Hampshire resident and local business owner enjoyed watching the Saints (even though we weren't his team). 2 of his closest friends are Benali and Le Tiss, and since their relationships have soured with the club, Rod has distanced himself from the club a little and not attended games. It's a complete non-story really, he simply doesn't attend Saints games anymore as a result, and upon questioning has voiced his disappointment in the clubs treatment towards them. It seems most of us would agree with his thoughts too. Just a shame he mentioned P*mpey as a shining example of how it should be done! Source: Rod is a long term friend!
