Ive been trying to buy a couple of additional tickets for the Spurs game (28th) online, but any block I click on it says ZERO available. Am I just being a donut or has this game sold out? (or is the new all singing online system broken again!!?)

South American Footie Transfer Chat on Talksport NOW! Maybe they will mention our Ramirez saga...?

Sky Sports saying it's a done deal! Wahoooooo! http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7912170/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+skysports%2FCnFH+%28Sky+Sports+%7C+Football+News%29

Absolutely spot on! My feelings articulated better than I ever could! However, I am still more excited than I've ever been about a forthcoming season, so the glass is still half full for me!

If its any help to others, I got through on the 01271 number this morning and sorted tickets. Took about 5 attempts of getting the engaged tone, and was then on hold for 10 mins, but did eventually get through and all sorted! What a mess, but keep the faith!

Just a thought... Do you think the strips could have a slight Swiss tribute to them?

The Gambia - Here to brighten up an already sunny day....

Thank you so much, the shirts arrived today! Can't believe peoples generosity here, we now have over 20 shirts to take out! We are due to go out in either November or January, so we will be sure to take hundreds of photos and videos to post and share. May be able to give them to my Dad to take over sooner if he comes back between now and November. Thanks again to everyone! -

Fantastic, thank you! We now have about 15 ready to take out! -
Tweeted and voted on FB! Great blog, thanks for the hard work for our benefit!

Please dont think for one second I am stirring it up here (or looking for attention) as I am a massive Nigel Adkins fan, but I also have it on extremely good authority (I wont be sharing names on here for obvious reasons) that there is tension between Cortese and Adkins! NC was extremely disappointed that we didn't have the stamina to go on and win The Championship after leading for so long and was furious after the Reading defeat at home, which led to no communication between NC and NA until after the Coventry game! I am not saying he is about to sack NA, but I dont think it would take too much (like a small blip at the start of the season) for changes to be made. I am a huge fan of NC and love how he has transformed our club, but don't underestimate his ambition, as the above statement is fact.

Corby Moore is the nephew of a friend of mine, does anyone know if he is one of the 'hotter prospects'? I've never seen him play, and she doesn't seem to really know too much about his ability! Would be interested if anybody has seen him play if they think he could progress to first team.

I'm also a closet geek! As well as the obvious benefits of watching Saints in the Premier League, I am also looking forward to the Premier League Sticker Album and playing as Saints in PES 2013!

I've personally spoken to one of the Head Stewards at SMS who told me that he and his team have already been briefed on what extra Health & Safety Certificates they will need to get 'when' the Stadium is increased to 40,000! I have it on good authority that the Kingsland Stand will be the first to be extended, taking the stadium to a 40k capacity, and this 'will' happen if Saints can get back to the Premier League and stay there beyond their first season.

The story has made The Echo.... Wahoooooo! My brother was interviewed by them a couple of weeks back, and this is the result.... (unfortunately they used a picture of one of the younger lads out there and not the pic of Hassan himself, oh well) http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/9639890.Saints_get_great_support_from_Gambia/ -

Hi Mike, I just wanted to say another massive thanks for sending the shirts, it's so generous of you! I returned from work yesterday to find the package. Basically the guy is Saints mad, and he is trying to spread the Saints word to all who will listen, so really I'd just say anything you could spare and dont want anymore would be loved over there! Regarding the club officially.... they havent really been able to help us as they have their fingers in a lot of pies already with the Saints Foundation, so weren't able to help us or let us have a drop box in the club shop for shirts. But we completely understand that, as they have their own charities to help, and apparently shirts going over to Africa already. The Echo interviewed my brother this week, so hopefully that should be featured soon, and they are considering whether shirts can be sent to their HQ and they would hold them for us until we have enough to take out and kit the full team! Thanks to all for your kind words and generosity! -

That's amazing, thank you so much! I appreciate that so much, and I know that Hassan and the gang will be totally made up. I'll make sure we get some pictures up on here. -

Sorry for not being online to respond in the las few days..... Wow! I cannot believe what a great and positive response this thread has received! Thank You so much to everyone! Just a little update..... The Echo are calling us shortly to interview us and do a feature on The Gambian Saints Supporters Club, so they have obviously picked up and been touched by the story too. My Dad is due back in the UK today, and will then be flying back out there the following weekend (on Easter Sunday) so I guess if you would like any of your old kits or memorabilia to go out there, then it would be easiest if posted to me to arrive here in the next week, then I could give them to him to take back out. If any of you are genuinely up for being that kind and generous, then please post them to: Mr L Reeves, Flat 7 'Pinewood', 38 Lowther Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH8 8NQ and I will make sure they get taken out. I can then post photographic evidence on here (when I get it) of them proudly wearing the stripes! I appreciate it's a big ask, and you would be basing this on trust, but if you do wish to donate, then please get in touch or post to the address above. But we don't have much time if we want it out there soon. My Dad wont be returning to the UK again until late summer, and is not then back out there until November. So it would be great if we could move fast with this. Thanks again for the Saints love, I'm overwhelmed.... as I'm sure Hassan and the his fellow Gambian Saints will be! -

I genuinely don't know as you never quite get a straight answer! I think a tourist or ex-pat once gave him a shirt? They are all footie mad out there, and replica shirts are worn everywhere, only this guy chose to cherish the red and white stripes, and stuck with us through thick and thin! I would love to get hold of some old surplus stock at the end of the season for his boys team, they literally wear rags... they would be proud as punch to wear the real thing! -

I sense your sarcasm here.... and I agree with you wholeheartedly! Lets embrace all of our fans, wherever they are.... Together as one! Any man, woman or child that loves The Saints this much is a friend of mine! If only it was easier for him to get a visa, as it would make his 'life' if he could attend a game, I kid you not! We will sort it one day for him! I was hoping that you would all like the story (and especially the choir like singing) so I'm glad I shared it now! OWTS -
I am loving being a Saints fan right now as I'm sure you all are, and I think this will put a further smile on your faces! My father lives out in The Gambia in Western Africa, and a few years ago he wandered the streets looking for a tailor. As he walked aimlessly in the hope of finding somebody to fix his trousers, he heard a sewing machine in full swing coming from an open doorway. He wandered over and peered his head through the door, and to his huge surprise there sat a local Gambian man (who was indeed a tailor) but more importantly had all of his walls adorned with Saints memorabilia (scarves, calendars, a shirt, etc)!!!!!! It turns out that this man's name is Hassan and he is in fact the President of The Gambian Saints Supporters Club! As you can imagine, the club doesn't have too many members as 99% of the locals out there choose to support the usual 'big' Premier League clubs (also bear in mind we were in League 1 at the time). It turns out that Hassan also runs a local boys team who he has affectionately named 'The Saints'! Over the past few years we have embraced Hassan and his love for Saints, so on each trip we take over memorabilia and merchandise for him, and you have never seen somebody be so appreciative! We also managed to get a feature about him into the Saints matchday programme and The Pink! Anyway, my Dad has just emailed me to say that he has started to expand his one-man tailoring shop and has now employed an apprentice and 2 female members of staff, who he refers to as 'Junior Saint' and 'The Saintettes'! I will be doubly pleased if we gain promotion this season, obviously for my own selfish reasons, but also for this lone tailor in Bakau, The Gambia who chose the Saints as his team (despite our 3rd tier position) over the better advice of his 'friends' in the region who take the easier option of supporting Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea & Arsenal (and in the last 2 years Man City!!!!) My Dad has just emailed this video of Hassan in his shop today..... enjoy.... If you ever happen to be in The Gambia, then pop by and say hello, you can trust me that you will be most welcome! His address is The Gambia Saints - President Al-Hassan, c/o The Tailoring Shop, Luigis, Kololi Beach, The Gambia, West Africa

Who are you referring to as a JCL? Me? Why? You have no idea how many home or away games I've been to this season or any other season! Just because I couldn't make the the League Cup game, does it make me a JCL? I've followed Saints home and away for years, including the trip out to Bucharest! I'm ashamed of myself for biting here.... but christ some of our fans can be tw*ts!

I've just checked to book on the National Rail website, and it doesn't say that they arent! Thanks for all the advice chaps... Bournemouth to Selhurst it is then via (several pre and post match beers at) Clapham Junction! See you all there!

Hi All, A few of us are getting a Train from Bournemouth to the Palace game on Easter Monday. It's my first visit, so just wondered if anybody had done that trip before and know what is the best route? Would it be best to go to Clapham Junction or Waterloo first? Cheers! UTS!

They already are Paris, I bought mine when I bought my Barnsley ticket 2 weeks ago!

Ditto, I often think this when celebrating at St. Mary's! We owe so much to the big man, we certainly wouldn't be where we are now without him!
