  1. Pretty much echos my point: “For the record the sudden loss of Jewish support for Labour came when Miliband was leader who the Jewish Chronicle described as 'toxic' for Jewish voters. MIliband is Jewish. It was his support for recognition of Palestine before negotiations that did for him, they said. Being Jewish was no shield against this hostility.”
  2. Thought it was good, liked being able to flick through the goals of the other games at half time. The 2 minute delay is cool as well, when we were clinging on in the last minutes of injury time I just went online to check we had won so got rid of the nerves.
  3. It's almost as if campaigning for the rights of Palestinians has made Corbyn unpopular amongst some Jews?
  4. I don't think she was under age though, and to be fair lots of young women try very hard to put themselves in a 'situation' with rich and powerful men.
  5. The problem is we can’t pay a few more quid in tax because we will turn into Venezuela and all the nice billionaires will move abroad. So we have no choice but to just let these things happen.
  6. Even if that is true (it sounds like allegations of anti-semitism are being dealt with) it just makes him a bad leader who is not dealing with the problem well enough, it doesn’t make him anti-Semitic. Corbyn has long stood up for Palestinian rights, there is obvious motivation for Israel and their supporters to do all they can to stop him being PM.
  7. Didn’t play well at all but a massive 3 points.
  8. All over the place at the back
  9. I’d take big fat Sam over this garbage any day.
  10. Has he passed the ball forward once yet?
  11. That was just awful, they need to put Ralph out of his misery.
  12. I’m not a Corbyn supporter, he won’t win the election because he’s too far left, lacks charisma and is quite frankly a poor politician. He a toxic brand who should have been dumped years ago. That doesn’t make him an anti-Semite though you bell end.
  13. ... and by the garbage they read in the Sun, Mail, Telegraph etc
  14. I think most people with a brain can see he just has issues with Israel and that naturally makes him the enemy of many Jews.
  15. No, just wondered what their common Jewish facial features were.
  16. They don’t look like the average indigenous Israeli, just look African.
  17. What about the black Jews from Africa?
  18. Problem is, to monitor them all requires manpower which costs money and we can’t tax people with lots of it in case they move abroad or something.
  19. Truly heroic stuff, those guys should get rewarded with something because they undoubtedly saved lives. Amazing that they do that why some people in the same situation think the best thing to do is get to a safe distance, get their phone out and film it.
  20. Wether the gist of the article is right or wrong is irrelevant, use language like that and you empower other racist idiots to do the same. It's the sort of language you hear from the village idiot down the pub.
  21. Pussying out of the Andrew Neil interview as well by the look of things: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2019-50592259
  22. This. I cannot see any good outcome to this GE. Both a Labour government or a Boris government with a hard Brexit will probably be very bad for the economy if all the experts are to be believed. A hung parliament with some sort of coalition has to be the least bad outcome, but that would be a mess.
  23. I'm going to vote Lib Dem as always, just because where I live it's a straight choice between them and the Tories. Main negatives are: 1. The leader doesn't inspire me much 2. There policy on Brexit is too extreme - a second referendum can be the only way to reverse Brexit IMO. 3. Haven't read their manifesto this time but they tend to be soft on crime.
  24. "I recognise that anti-Semitism has surfaced within the Labour Party, and has too often been dismissed as simply a matter of a few bad apples. "This has caused pain and hurt to Jewish members of our party and to the wider Jewish community in Britain. "I am sincerely sorry for the pain which has been caused, and pledge to redouble my efforts to bring this anxiety to an end." Not sure what else you want him to say?
  25. Even Farage wants to plant a billion trees to help stop it. This is pretty much the only place you can go to find people thick enough to not believe it.
