  1. Why have they waited so long and wasted so much time? Hope the replacement is in place very quickly, other clubs are already making signings.
  2. That is of course true, but things are forever changing. The current globalised nature of capitalism where there is little national governments can do to stop huge multinational companies making (taking) billions while nations debts rise toward the trillions can't go on for ever. In Brexit, Trump's election and the relatively huge vote for an extremist like Corbyn we are already seeing a reaction to globalisation. IMO it's inevitably going to go pop at some point and socialism will end up picking the pieces again.
  3. I favoured Brexit but the mess the government are making of it makes me think a second refurendum, when we know the sort of deal on the table, makes sense. Dogmatically following the last 52/48 result over a cliff is just ****ing retarded. Especially if the stats are right and most young people want to stay in, the whole thing will be reversed in a decade anyway.
  4. That has to be decent case for a second referendum.
  5. Agree with the above. Plus I expect the younger generation read more online and less of the Tory rags.
  6. At least it looks like we are getting a softer Brexit now there are less Tories in the house.
  7. That's rich coming from the person who sh!ts his pants and shouts Muslim every time there is a road traffic accident.
  8. To be fair isn't the current NI power sharing thing in a bit of a delicate position? plus there is Brexit coming up which could make things worse. If people start killing each other over there because of all this mess the Tories will get much of the blame. They called a referendum they didn't have to and lost, then they called an election for for the benefit of their party and lost their majority. **** knows how these fools are going to negotiate with the EU.
  9. Try reading.
  10. And if the two years are up and the EU are not interested in a deal?
  11. Yeah, but it will be a transition to WTO rules if there is no deal by the deadline.
  12. Do you really think all 27 nations will agree a deal that would get through our parliament in under two years?
  13. I never once said that but I'm not surprised you didn't understand my point, you seem to have a problem with the simplest of concepts. My point about big business was that when they all spoke out in favour of remain they were just thinking of themselves not how Brexit would effect the general population. Every time the remain campaign wheeled out these bankers and rich business leaders to plead their case it just made a protest vote more likely.
  14. Free trade, without free movement. Sounds ok to me.
  15. What are the terms of the Canada deal then?
  16. Are they not trying to negotiate a free trade deal with Canada? I assume Canada are not going to have to put up with free movement of people.
  17. Yeah it's not hard to understand. My point was that if there was a deal that meant we got a better deal and it benefited the EU they wouldn't do it because they need to make sure we get a worse deal just to make a point. They won't do a single thing that gives us any sort of advantage because we are a competitor, rights and responsibilities don't come into it.
  18. Forcing us to have a worse deal, how is that not punishment?
  19. Of course they won't say it but that's what they will do. The moment we triggered article 50 we stopped being with them and became their competitor. That's how capitalism works, there will be countries in the EU who will want our car industry, countries that want our financial service industry - and the EU will do all it can to make sure they get them.
  20. That's wrong. If there is no deal by early 2019 we go to WTO rules regardless of what our parliament decide. Less Tories and more Labour mean a softer deal is more likely to get through but I can't see the EU giving us a deal good enough, they will go out of their way to make sure we suffer.
  21. The real Batman would not have **** his pants so quickly, he's a fraud.
  22. Just by associating with these sort of people doesn't mean he is not trying to get them to further their cause through peaceful means. From what I have seen he has been pretty consistent in his opposite to war and violence, happy to be proven wrong, I am not even a big fan of Corbyn. I just don't like the typical flag waving loons who **** their pants when they read that he has actually spoken with people like Hamas or the IRA.
  23. He has made it pretty clear that he is against violence of any sort, just because he sympathised with the plight of Catholics at the time doesn't mean he was applauding violence. It's the same with Hamas, he recognises the plight of the Palestinians so talks to them. The only way we are going to sort the Iraq/Syria problem out is by talking. Just because he wasn't part of Tony Blair's peace process, doesn't mean his intentions were not for a peaceful solution. Just means Blair chose his own people to do the talking. On the subject of terrorists - you don't seem too bothered about the Tories inviting a group backed by the UDA into our country's government, or are they OK?
  24. Corbyn is obviously a pacifist, keep trying to convince yourself he was cheering people's deaths if it makes you happy but most people have the intelligence to realise that he sympathised with the cause and that he knew the only way to sort the problem was though talking. And get problem was resolved through talking.
  25. Farage was spot on when he said they needed someone who actually believes in Brexit to be in charge if we are going down this road of Brexit at any cost. To be honest, whilst I was pro Brexit during the referendum I just wouldn't bother now. May is just going to **** it all up. It's nailed on WTO rules. All this "we voted out so are going out regardless" attitude is retarded, there is nothing undemocratic about having a second refurendum once we have an idea of the consequences. We will still leave if the option looks better. At the moment it's like watching a slow motion car crash. First we had Cameron jump ship it the first opportunity, then Boris bottled it, now May is making a right mess.
