  1. Contracts are irrelevant when it comes to managers though, doesn't matter if he has 6 years or 6 months left, he could leave whenever he wants.
  2. I can't see him leaving. I doubt any of the big boys will be in for him and with Leicester proving that now anyone can win the league it makes sense for him to stay here and challenge for the title next season.
  3. I'm not sure how questioning the PM on possible tax avoidance goes against any new era principles. I would say it's his duty as leader of the opposition to do it. What's your idea of 'new era' - sit there and say nothing about anything that might make the tories look bad?
  4. It's not though is it, like if someone asks you did you **** a pig. If you didn't **** a pig you would say " I didnt **** a pig". If you did, and knew you were not allowed to lie you wouldn't answer the question.
  5. To be fair if he's sacking board members because of the colour of their skin or sex it is.
  6. True, we don't know exactly what was said but someone must have told the women to sit on one side and the men on the other. I'm all for being tolerant of other religions and cultures but there is no reason why we should tolerate sexism, racism or homophobia in today's society. I could'nt care less what god people choose to worship but if you are trying to install your backward ways of thinking on us **** back off to your middle eastern **** hole.
  7. Like saying, "you're female - sit over there"
  8. Maybe the situation has changed and the UK wants to change their policy? Either way, the democratically elected UK government should decide not a bunch of foreigners.
  9. I think it might be EU rules that stop us subsidising the steel industry like China do. Probably deemed unfair to steel companies in Poland or something.
  10. True, but they say they are doing it because of the religion and the suicide aspect of it does suggest a belief in the religion they say they are doing it for. It appears to some of similar faith they are considered good wholesome muslims.
  11. This. There is a difference between someone of a certain religion doing something bad, and someone doing something bad because (or in the name of) of the religion. Using football violence as an example. If someone who happens to be a Saints fan does something violent it's nothing to do with Saints or football. If a Saints fan goes to a game and kicks the **** out of someone because they are an opposition fan, it is.
  12. Agree. I never think it's right when judges decide to make examples of people to serve as a deterant to others. Punishment should fit the crime. It was the same for those riots in 2012. People had the book thrown at them for minor offences just to get headlines.
  13. What a load of ******. Only the UK government can decide to hold a refurendum, there is no way the tories would hold another one, in or out of Europe. What a few SNP MPs think is irrelivant.
  14. Having more armed police doesn't mean you have to arm all the police, or lower standards.
  15. More armed police makes sense to me, no matter how unlikely the threat. In the event of a Paris style attack just one armed copper could make a massive difference to the amount of casualties. I would be surprised if there wasn't a major attack in the UK sometime in the near future. If hundreds get gunned down at a major event and there were no armed cops present it would be a dereliction of duty.
  16. God knows what the solution will be, but bombing the **** out of people in Syria/Iraq is not going to solve anything on it's own.
  17. Except I've seen it with my own eyes at my company and elsewhere.
  18. I dunno, the Polish people we employ empty the bins and put stuff in boxes in the factory. Guess what, the Same jobs were always done by English people before so the idea that British people don't want to work is ******. Pay a decent wage and they will do it.
  19. All the more reason to control the hoards of unskilled labour pouring in from Poland and Romania.
  20. History suggests that the EU will always push for closer and closer union, they will never vote for less power and less money - it will always be the other way.
  21. I don't see much strategy from the in campaign about how we will deal with becoming part of an EU superstate or how we are going to cope with the 400,000 extra people each year whilst making cuts to public services.
  22. That's always been England's problem IMO. It's a combination of having a large pool of 'OK' players to choose from and a press/public which put the manager under massive pressure. If the England manager ignores the players from the big clubs and we lose he gets crucified. If he picks the big players and we lose it's just "England are not good enough again not the boss' fault". For example, Rooney shouldn't be anywhere near the England first XI, yet if Roy drops him from the squad he instantly puts his head on the block.
  23. Or you could trust none of them and just make up your own mind.
  24. I'm not suggesting any of that, I am perfectly happy about paying tax and don't expect preferential treatment. But if the population the size of Southampton is turning up every year, the only way to avoid the service getting worse and worse each year is to build the equivalent of Southampton's services every year.
