Whatever the set up is it has worked so far which is good. I think the money in the summer could probably have been more wisely spent though. Also when you are being bankrolled by a billionaire through the lower leagues there is more scope for errors.

Adkin's obviously is not in the same league as Fergie but the principle is the same. You employ a manager to manage, that is his talent, that's why he is there. If you don't trust his judgement on players why hire him?

I doubt any player would be signed if Adkins didn't want them. If a chairman is bringing in players against his wishes I think then there is a problem. I think you are the one with an agenda.
