It will be a right laugh explaining tactics to our Polish keeper and Norwegian and Japanese centre backs in broken English.

Protests, booing, boycotts are Not going to Help us Move on

We deserve to go down now IMO. -
To be fair most other football fans will have the same opinion as Merson.

Agree, average record at a club and league he knew inside out. MASSIVE gamble.

Average record at a club and league he knew inside out. Doesn't bode well.

Losing a manager when a team is doing well usually has a bad effect. I would put money on us going down now. It all depends on how it effects the players.

I find it hard to support a club run by a c*nt like Cortese. Some people are happy as long as we are buying success but I would rather we treat people right. F*ck them and their money.

Are you all genuinely surprised or did you expect it?

It is a HUGE gamble, things were going along OK now we've ripped everything up and starting from scratch with a manager who has won nothing and knows nothing about his league. -

Surprised at the timing. Waiting until a team is playing well to sack the manager is a strange one. -
Yeah, things went great when Strachan left.
-
what has this Argie won as manager then?
-
Hopefully the club owners will show Cortese the same amount of loyalty he showed Adkins.

cortese is a c*nt

Just a bunch of ***ts trying to shock people, not in the least bit scary. These muslims remind me of those little dogs that bark like mental, then as soon as you go towards it it runs away then turns round and barks like mental again.

How much control should the chairman have over signings?
aintforever replied to old_southy's topic in The Saints
Whatever the set up is it has worked so far which is good. I think the money in the summer could probably have been more wisely spent though. Also when you are being bankrolled by a billionaire through the lower leagues there is more scope for errors. -

No one know's who is behind which signings, I thought that was obvious. You clearly don't understand my point. But that is not surprising. -

I'm not concerned, just speculation on what the opening poster said. Blimey, some of you lot are a bit too touchy about the Don. Mention 'transfer committee' and you are wetting the bed all over the place. Look at smirkin's post above. lol. -

Ronaldo going wasn't even Man Utd's decision, it was Ronaldo's. And I doubt any of the Asian players would have been signed against SAF's wishes. Adkin's obviously is not in the same league as Fergie but the principle is the same. You employ a manager to manage, that is his talent, that's why he is there. If you don't trust his judgement on players why hire him? -

I didn't say there was anything wrong with our set up. Just that in my opinion the manager should always be the one that decides on which players to sign. I doubt any player would be signed if Adkins didn't want them. If a chairman is bringing in players against his wishes I think then there is a problem. I think you are the one with an agenda. -

So you think someone else is choosing Man U's players for Sir Alex. You pleb. -

What's my agenda? Every person on here is speculating.
