  1. It obviously wound up some of our fans though which isn't the cleverest thing to do. Would hardly expect a f*ckwit like you to understand though.
  2. Yeah, because chucking a bottle at your own fans is really going to help. F*cking ***t IMO. Maybe he should wait until he's had at least one good game before he starts giving a bit back.
  3. Better second half but couldn't get much worse, we were awful. Championship here we come.
  4. He was probably trying to throw the bottle back into the net and missed.
  5. Too many idiots on here. Anyone with a slightly differing opinion gets jumped on and abused by the usual gang of playground nob-heads. Internet forums by their nature attract a high percentage of weirdos.
  6. His first season in the top flight when then finished 11th. Adkins has had 8 games, half of them very hard fixtures.
  7. "With roaming sellers also out and about, you’ll never miss a chance to pick up your copy of the programme." - what 12 year-old writes this b@ll@x? How exactly would you miss the original programme sellers who were conveniently stood in the same place each game?
  8. I didn't say he was Pep frigging Guardiola, just responding to Delldays saying he was not GUARENTEED to become a good Prem manager. How can he, no-one can be. Even some good foreign managers fail in the Prem, Guardiola might be sh!t. That's my point, unless he is given the chance we wont find out if he's the next Sir Alex (who also had a poor start in the prem).
  9. Same could be said of Pep Guardiola. Adkins is on a learning curve, he needs to be given a chance. If he's sacked you could see him going somewhere like Ipswich, get them promoted and go on to be a great Prem manager.
  10. This is almost as funny as the Redknapp one. Di Canio, seriously?
  11. It's a shame the club can't get this right. Even though we are getting tonked off the field there should still be more of a feel good factor around the place. Doing things like having rows with the local paper, spats with club legends and bad customer service is bound to have a negative effect. Sacking longstanding programme sellers in the name of saving a few pennies, then straight away forking out for a private loo so he can curl one out in peace and quiet shows exactly where the chairman's priorities lie.
  12. To be fair Spurs managers have always spent sh!t loads (how much did Hoddle pay for Richards?) but only Redknapp got them into the Champions League. They would have qualified last year as well if Chelsea hadn't have fluked the thing.
  13. What's the spoon and bog roll story?
  14. To be honest I wouldn't be that bothered about going down. I was on holiday for the Villa game, it's coming up to bonfire night and I have yet to see a win. Plus there are few Sat 3pms, and too many tosser fans and players in the Prem.
  15. Can't see it happening unless he has final say on transfers - which seems unlikely given the way things seem to be at the moment. The fans would soon come round. If the team is winning no one cares about anything else.
  16. It would be great if it was Redknapp, just for comedy value. There would be a massive uproar, booing, boycotts etc. Then after a few wins playing his brand of free-flowing footie everyone would be singing his name, again.

  18. You've never ever been able to trust journos, there is nothing new about that. Having a row with the press is pointless, particularly when it's the local paper. For many fans it is the only way they get news on the club, instead of free advertising all the club are getting is completely pointless negative PR.
  19. The BBC is one of the few good things left in this country. It's refreshing to be able to look at a website or watch TV without being bombarded with ads full of w@kers trying to sell you sh!t products. In fact I think it's thoroughly depressing to watch too much advertising.
  20. It's hard to argue with any of that article. Our lack of Premier League experience at the back is glaring. Whoever is responsible for the transfers should be sacked, and I include the Chief Exec in that.
  21. That was always Adkins' potential weakness, he's never worked at this level so wouldn't know who is capable or not. Then you have Charlton Athletic's sh!ttest ever manager giving him advice and you have a recipie for disaster
  22. There is obviously something wrong when a manager says strengthening the defence is a priority then £30mill is spent and all we've added to the defence is a youngster from Palace and a Japanese centre back.
  23. I find it hard to believe Cortese would be stupid enough to tell the manager what formation to play, or to over-rule the manager on what players to buy.
