  1. Baird's rocket against Cardiff.
  2. Barry Horne's pile-driver against Bolton.
  3. I don't get changing tactics when we've been winning games for fun. Also Barnard and Guly have been superb recently - why drop them both in favour of an out of sorts Lambert? It was always going to be a tough one though, Carlisle are not a bad side and would have been hungry for revenge after the Wembley drubbing.
  4. It's nuts to suggest what happened in Kenya was as bad as this (from Wiki).... The Holocaust was the genocide of approximately six million European Jews during World War II, a programme of systematic state-sponsored extermination by Nazi Germany. Two-thirds of the population of nine million Jews who had resided in Europe before the Holocaust were killed. Some scholars maintain that the definition of the Holocaust should also include the Nazis' systematic murder of millions of people in other groups, including Romani, Soviet prisoners of war, Polish and Soviet civilians, homosexuals, people with disabilities, Jehovah's Witnesses and other political and religious opponents, which occurred irrespective of whether they were of German or non-German ethnic origin. By this definition, the total number of Holocaust victims would be between 11 million and 17 million people.
  5. We've done some bad stuff like any country, still has no relevance to our decision to beat the **** out of the Germans.
  6. We knew they were murdering Nazi ****s rampaging through Europe. A clear case of good vs evil.
  7. I'm not saying we are any better than them - just saying it was 100% right to fight what they were doing.
  8. I don't know much about the kenya thing but reading that link it sounds very very bad but it wasn't building factories of death to wipe a whole race of the face of the planet. I still don't see it's relevance in relation to our decision to fight the Nazis. That was right regardless of what happened in Africa.
  9. So Dune, you are basically saying that because we have done some dodgy stuff in the past we had might as well have joined in the Nazi's mass murder of Jews to help keep our empire going? ****ing lunatic.
  10. I'd take off Scheiderlin and bring on Barnard.
  11. Wether their genocide is worse or not (It was) is completely irrelevant. If you dig back through history far enough I expect ever country on the planet has done bad stuff.
  12. How does what we did in kenya effect who we sided on in WW2 then? please explain....
  13. Why change the formation for Carlisle for ****s sake.
  14. What happened in Kenya has no relevance at all, there is no way Britain or the World would be better off if we joined the nazis. Unless you think a World without Jews, gays, Gypos etc would be a better place.
  15. You are not quite sure wether we should have joined in the whole gassing of Jews, gypos and gays thing? Are you serious!?
  16. If being locked in doesn't work why were we locked in at Portsmouth and Millwall? You will always get some who hang around but most will just get bored and go down the pub, plus the rozzers can clear the area around the stadium so that the indreds can get on their coaches with no bother. The fans who walk to the station are always going to be a magnet for idiots regardless, its better for everyone if most Saints fans are on their way home.
  17. How is shouting "British troops burn in hell" not inciting racial hatred? Typical of how the authorities tread on eggshells around muslims, and they wonder why things like the EDL happen.
  18. As the plod said about the student thing - it's their job to keep law and order, so they failed. Lock the away fans in for 30mins and you don't have a problem.
  19. Pubs are rubbish now thanks to the smoking ban, full of families and kids.
  20. I should be outraged but no matter how hard I try I can't help finding them funny. I don't even see them as Muslims, just a bunch of ****s with stupid looking facial hair trying really really hard to make me outraged. If any of them got anywhere near a proper combat situation in Afganistan the would **** their pants in seconds. **** Mini Babybel
  21. I totally agree that Labour screwed up, in idiot Brown's own words - he thought he ended boom and bust. But I am very wary of the Tories putting up uni fees, we all know that deep down all the average Tory wants to do is make sure their offspring get in to the best uni instead of poorer people.
  22. I think it will have more effect than a peaceful protest no one even notices. The nutters who did the violence will be treated as scum (and rightly so) but the underlying cause will be helped.
  23. It is a bit off that they are celebrating 125 years of a club that obviously wont let them use their logo. Someone needs to take their head out their ass.
  24. Not really, the violence achieved a lot more than what a peaceful protest would have - it got them prime spot on the news instead of 25 seconds at the end. Protests are all about getting attention, the more violence the more effective.
