  1. So Dune, you are basically saying that because we have done some dodgy stuff in the past we had might as well have joined in the Nazi's mass murder of Jews to help keep our empire going? ****ing lunatic.
  2. I'd take off Scheiderlin and bring on Barnard.
  3. Wether their genocide is worse or not (It was) is completely irrelevant. If you dig back through history far enough I expect ever country on the planet has done bad stuff.
  4. How does what we did in kenya effect who we sided on in WW2 then? please explain....
  5. Why change the formation for Carlisle for ****s sake.
  6. What happened in Kenya has no relevance at all, there is no way Britain or the World would be better off if we joined the nazis. Unless you think a World without Jews, gays, Gypos etc would be a better place.
  7. You are not quite sure wether we should have joined in the whole gassing of Jews, gypos and gays thing? Are you serious!?
  8. If being locked in doesn't work why were we locked in at Portsmouth and Millwall? You will always get some who hang around but most will just get bored and go down the pub, plus the rozzers can clear the area around the stadium so that the indreds can get on their coaches with no bother. The fans who walk to the station are always going to be a magnet for idiots regardless, its better for everyone if most Saints fans are on their way home.
  9. How is shouting "British troops burn in hell" not inciting racial hatred? Typical of how the authorities tread on eggshells around muslims, and they wonder why things like the EDL happen.
  10. As the plod said about the student thing - it's their job to keep law and order, so they failed. Lock the away fans in for 30mins and you don't have a problem.
  11. Pubs are rubbish now thanks to the smoking ban, full of families and kids.
  12. I should be outraged but no matter how hard I try I can't help finding them funny. I don't even see them as Muslims, just a bunch of ****s with stupid looking facial hair trying really really hard to make me outraged. If any of them got anywhere near a proper combat situation in Afganistan the would **** their pants in seconds. **** Mini Babybel
  13. I totally agree that Labour screwed up, in idiot Brown's own words - he thought he ended boom and bust. But I am very wary of the Tories putting up uni fees, we all know that deep down all the average Tory wants to do is make sure their offspring get in to the best uni instead of poorer people.
  14. I think it will have more effect than a peaceful protest no one even notices. The nutters who did the violence will be treated as scum (and rightly so) but the underlying cause will be helped.
  15. It is a bit off that they are celebrating 125 years of a club that obviously wont let them use their logo. Someone needs to take their head out their ass.
  16. Not really, the violence achieved a lot more than what a peaceful protest would have - it got them prime spot on the news instead of 25 seconds at the end. Protests are all about getting attention, the more violence the more effective.
  17. Bit of a retarded thing to say, I doubt any hooligans post on here. I don't think jail sentences are appropriate and I've never been into fighting, even when I was that sort of age I was way too soft to want to fight anyone, let alone over a football match. If two groups of nutters want to beat themselves up over a football match it's not clever but it's not really crime of the century - there's alot worse stuff that goes on and those should be the people in jail IMO.
  18. Anyone involved are idiots but I think that any punishment should fit the crime so prison sentences would be way too harsh for someone who just shook a fence. The idea that someone should be punished more because of the sport they choose to watch it bizarre. I hope common sense prevails and they get a slap on the wrist.

    Torture

Thats rubbish IMO, torture works, that's why they do it. I think in only certain circumstances it should be done, only if you know someone is involved in terrorism and are pretty certain lives could be saved.
  20. Saints support is a bit of an unknown quantity, the only time we've had any success is when we were at The Dell which limited what we could attract, and that was decades ago. We have a hardcore of about 15K but fans do come from all over the place when there is a hint of success. I know for a fact that there was over 200,000 on the database during our later Prem years. That was unique individual purchaser of tickets. Our home game with Chelsea in 03/04 sold out in 6hrs. A good Prem team would see us knocking on 40,000 IMO.
  21. That's exactly what I am saying, thank you.
  22. We never had the best average attendance once when we were in the championship, the best we got was 5th highest that was the first season down. All I'm saying is that we will not be a big fish in the Championship living within our means, we will just be one of many clubs with a chance of promotion. If cortese wants to be top half of Prem in 5 years the wise thing to do would be invest money otherwise it could be decades before we get out the Championship.
  23. Our last season in the Championship we averaged 17,849, Leicester this season average 21,472.
  24. IF we are challenging, we are going to have to buy a team to challenge first. You are deluded if you think this current squad will be challenging in the Championship.
