  1. Sounds like a typical Cortese thing to do.
  2. It's depressing thinking about what could have been.
  3. Can see why he was booted out straight after the war now.
  4. My mortgage isn't any cheaper - it depends what mortgage you have. Anyway, even if some are better off it takes a special sort of **** to say stuff that that whilst making millions unemployed and whilst millions, who can't get a mortgage, suffer real hardship.
  5. Do you seriously want to put adverts in Match of the Day and Question time? **** off!
  6. I think the BBC is superb, I would hate to see it privatised. It's news and politics shows are unrivaled, the website is probably the best on the web and radio 5 gives great sports coverage. It's great being able to listen to the radio, watch TV and go on a decent website without having some **** try to flog you something.
  7. Shows what a bunch of ***ts the people on here calling for jail sentences are.
  8. Bart commands his area better than Kelvin IMO.
  9. Or maybe what he says about Cortese is also true?
  10. If he was led to believe that good performances would lead to a pay increase you can't blame him for being ****ed off if the club offered him the same terms.
  11. Probably not a good move going to Millwall then.
  12. If, as it seems, it turns out Ali Al Faraj is an imaginary person, what does it mean has gone on down at pompey? I don't get how or why you would make a person up and have that person buy a football club.
  13. Why is 100 so important? Just because it has two zeros after the first number - big deal. It means **** all, f we didn't count in multiples of 10 it would be no different to any other number.
  14. To be fair, if a 17 year old kid turned up at my work and did my job twice as good I would probably want to leave.
  15. Our fate was sealed the moment Steve Wigley was unveiled as manager.
  16. From what I saw on the news it looked like a whole loads of bombs have already been dropped on the place - what a **** hole.
  17. Anyone who thinks Adkins should be sacked is an idiot. Anyone who thinks our fan base is to blame for our demise is an even bigger idiot.
  18. Baird's rocket against Cardiff.
  19. Barry Horne's pile-driver against Bolton.
  20. I don't get changing tactics when we've been winning games for fun. Also Barnard and Guly have been superb recently - why drop them both in favour of an out of sorts Lambert? It was always going to be a tough one though, Carlisle are not a bad side and would have been hungry for revenge after the Wembley drubbing.
  21. It's nuts to suggest what happened in Kenya was as bad as this (from Wiki).... The Holocaust was the genocide of approximately six million European Jews during World War II, a programme of systematic state-sponsored extermination by Nazi Germany. Two-thirds of the population of nine million Jews who had resided in Europe before the Holocaust were killed. Some scholars maintain that the definition of the Holocaust should also include the Nazis' systematic murder of millions of people in other groups, including Romani, Soviet prisoners of war, Polish and Soviet civilians, homosexuals, people with disabilities, Jehovah's Witnesses and other political and religious opponents, which occurred irrespective of whether they were of German or non-German ethnic origin. By this definition, the total number of Holocaust victims would be between 11 million and 17 million people.
  22. We've done some bad stuff like any country, still has no relevance to our decision to beat the **** out of the Germans.
  23. We knew they were murdering Nazi ****s rampaging through Europe. A clear case of good vs evil.
  24. I'm not saying we are any better than them - just saying it was 100% right to fight what they were doing.
  25. I don't know much about the kenya thing but reading that link it sounds very very bad but it wasn't building factories of death to wipe a whole race of the face of the planet. I still don't see it's relevance in relation to our decision to fight the Nazis. That was right regardless of what happened in Africa.
