To be fair, no one on here knows wether the BBC know the real reason or not. There is no point blindly dismissing it just because it's not what we want to hear.

One thing all these rumours has highlighted is how fragile our grasp on financial security is. We are just a billionaire's plaything, at any moment we could be just tossed aside and be in a similar position to where pompey are today or where we were a year ago.

The programme thing obviously wasn't a production issue so it must hint at something going on with Pardew, especially as the club are not giving a reason.

That was a big mistake by Cameron, not only did it make the Lib Dems more popular but it increased the turnout. The tories would have been better off if the Labour voters would have stayed uninterested in the whole thing.

Heard the same rumour, don't think it would be the cleverest move. I would take Pardew with a years league 1 experience over Hughes any day.

I still refuse to believe that the FL will give them anything less than -17. leeds had a CVA agreed and were still punished, and considering the grief they put Bournemouth through there has to be some sort of fair play. What the Skates have done is much worse than Leeds and being as good as relegated anyway meant the -9 was not even a punishment.

You have to take the rough with the smooth. You were more than happy to boast about your success, and mock our lack of it whilst being financed by blood money. Going out of business and starting again non-league is fair for what Portsmouth have done, just like our punishment was fair.

I would imagine if they voted for liquidation they would get less in total but more up front. Also just because pompey promise to pay 20% over 5 year doesn't mean you will get it.

What happens if the Statement of Affairs was deliberately misleading? Surely a company can't just make up numbers to avoid being wound up.

The Gaydamak - Chanrai relationship is important. I've always assumed they are both in it together but if Gaydamak wants to block a CVA he can. And according to the BBC blocking a CVA would most likely cause PFC to be liquidated - which could free up Gaydamak's land for redevelopment.

I think fear of a hung parliament will mean a lot of people will go for change to Tory at the last minute. A hung parliament would be a disaster with so many big, tough decisions to be made.

They really are a deluded bunch, their fall from grace is going to be spectacularly funny. From Wembley against Chelsea to pennyless bottom of the Championship, -17 points, getting dicked by S****horpe - all in a matter of weeks.

That writer could easily have written a similar article about a dysfunctional Labour council, I refuse to read any papers around election time because they are ALL full of the usual crap.

I heard my MP Chris Hune on the radio yesterday banging on about how it's so wrong for Labour and the Tories to say we should vote tactical and we should vote for what you believe. Then through the door drop his leaflet saying "vote Lib Dem, Labour can't win here". All a bunch of tossers.
