  1. So at the same time of announcing that he thinks creditors will accept a measly 20p in the pound he is announcing his post admin spending spree!! He's either a complete idiot or he wants them to vote against it.
  2. Take a dump on the MD's desk.
  3. Also the FL are ball busters when it comes to this rule. AFC Bournemouth had to play school kids and rarely had a full bench all last season. They even had some one who was willing to play for free (relation to Howe) but still wasn't allowed to sign.
  4. I don't think I will bother this year as i usually pay with the instalment plan. I can afford it but just think the way they have handled it is rude. June 2009 - Please throw your money in the bucket and save our jobs. June 2010 - Give us £400 in 20 days time or lose the seat you've had for 8 years. I'm just going to cherry pick the glamour ties. ...it will be a cheap season.
  5. Are they sending out the renewal forms?
  6. It's pointless worrying about what might happen because we cannot effect it, it is right to ask questions and people shouldn't get all defensive when people do. We all like to think of pompey's owners as evil and our rich owner as some sort of fairy god father but fact is we could very easily end up in a similar situation to portsmouth (saddled with massive debt), it is nieve to think otherwise.
  7. There is no doubt that the current capacity would be restrictive if were to get to the Prem, and SMS was done on a budget so it wouldn't surprise me if Cortese went for a new stadium option. Much would depend on how well SMS could be upgraded. 55k would be daft, even with Chelsea style investment we couldn't fill that. 40-45k would be about right.
  8. Wasn't planning permission for a few houses on Jackson's Farm refused? I think if we get back to the Prem increasing SMS' capacity is a good idea, even building a new ground (around the 45k size) could be a great idea. But the idea of a 55,000 stadium in Hedge End is up there with pompey's floating potty in terms of being a non goer.
  9. Do you seriously think building a stadium, almost as big as Arsenal's, on farm land in Hedge End is a good idea?!
  10. A 55,000 stadium in Hedge End! Are you guys serious? LOL
  11. There is no reason why "viable position" shouldn't mean leaving them in League 2 though. They can easily pay back more than 20p in the pound and stlll be a viable business, it's not the administrators job to make sure they have a team good enough to challenge for promotion or even good enough to stay in the Championship.
  12. I think putting Joe Hart in goal now would be a complete disaster, if James is not fit I would stick with Green. In my opinion people underestimate the importance of experience in these games. Green didn't mess up because of lack of talent, it was because he was under the sort of pressure he had never experienced before and lost his concentration. Sticking Hart into that environment would be suicide.
  13. David James should play as experience counts alot in these pressure games.
  14. You're right, acountancyage should be a more reliable source than some redtop. http://www.accountancyage.com/accountancyage/news/2264288/hmrc-set-veto-cva I suppose they will reject the CVA then contest the football creditors rule when the first parachute payment gets directed straight to the football creditors. Anything that drags it out is good news, makes the -17 more likely.
  15. No, but if the value of the pension drops it just means you get less when you are old no? Anyway if BP goes bust then all the other oil companies will benefit from it, thus increasing pensions linked to those.
  16. Instead of a number can you get one with a big backslash on the back, thus completing the Mrs World sash?
  17. Not really, just a bunch of old people wont be able to spend as much.
  18. Do we know that HRMC will not support the CVA? I've been on Hols and can't be arsed to trawl through half a million posts.
  19. I thought they were not British - some on here seem to think so?
  20. I agree, I hope Obama throws the book at them, and I think he will. This will cost BP 10s of billions.
  21. We go skins - and it will still look less gay than that sash.
  22. Get in! That shut those horn blowing ****s up.
  23. Just because a company has foreign shareholders doesn't mean it's foreign. Every PLC in the country will have shareholders who don't live in Britain.
  24. That's just branding/marketing ******, everyone knows why it's called BP.
  25. The away kit will have a sponsor - FACT.
