  1. I would suggest that you are talking out of your anus. Just because Liebherr doesn't like his company going into debt doesn't mean he is in some sort of bizarre crusade against debt. If he is, then forcing fans to pay by credit card instead of a relatively safe interest free repayment method is not exactly the brightest way of combatting the world wide debt crisis.
  2. I think it's pretty clear that Cortese is running the show at SFC.
  3. If you believe that you must be the thickest person ever to post on this forum. You are basically saying that Cortese - a former banker - doesn't believe in people borrowing and paying interest on their debt!
  4. Didn't you watch the US game? That was gash as well.
  5. I would be happy if he doesn't play for England again. The chav is an embarrassment to the country.
  6. I don't think Capello's style helps, he seems to add pressure on the players instead of trying to do he opposite. England will never be one of the best countries but should be able to beat Algeria easily despite our lack of attacking talent.
  7. As much as I dislike Lowe he did give fans the option of installments even when we didn't have a penny to scratch our ass with. You are talking out of your anus. I am amazed how quickley Cortese has managed to **** up the feel good factor, if he had any sense at all he would have had my ST cash in the bank over 3 months ago - it would have been like taking candy from a baby. As it stands I will probably pay for 4 or 5 home games next season - you do the maths.
  8. I think that is the main problem here, does Cortese actually know anything about football or the English culture of football? Once people get out of the habit of going to every game it is pretty easy to give Degenham and Redbridge on a cold wet November Wednesday a miss.
  9. Scraping the armed forces is a dumb idea, it makes sense to drastically cut them and stay out of other country's affairs though.
  10. The good thing is though even if they do escape the tax man then Chanrai will just milk them for the parachutes and leave them floundering anyway. This is someone who watched them get relegated and put them in admin, he obviously doesn't give a monkeys about PFC, he just wants as much cash out of them as he can get.
  11. I'm not sulking, just going to football games less often. To be honest, last year I only went to many games because I had a ST and it was already paid for. I will probably just go to the Bournemouth games plus Charlton and Wednesday, then go to the last game and join in the promotion celebrations and get a ST next year in the Championship.
  12. From what HRMC have said I think we can expect them to appeal, which should lead to a Leeds style situation where it is not resolved before the start of the season and they get the -17.
  13. So they have got away with it then. Cheating bastards.
  14. The way the club has treated ST holders is a disgrace IMO. I guess Cortese thinks by forcing people to pay on a match by match he can make more money but I for one will just cherry pick the games I want to go to, and that's not many because most of the teams we play are just generic League 1 ****e. I can easily afford a ST but wont get one out of principle. June 2009 - Please throw your money in the bucket to keep me in a job. June 2010 - Give us £400 in 20 days time or lose the seat you have had since SMS was built. Bunch of arrogant tossers.
  15. So at the same time of announcing that he thinks creditors will accept a measly 20p in the pound he is announcing his post admin spending spree!! He's either a complete idiot or he wants them to vote against it.
  16. Take a dump on the MD's desk.
  17. Also the FL are ball busters when it comes to this rule. AFC Bournemouth had to play school kids and rarely had a full bench all last season. They even had some one who was willing to play for free (relation to Howe) but still wasn't allowed to sign.
  18. I don't think I will bother this year as i usually pay with the instalment plan. I can afford it but just think the way they have handled it is rude. June 2009 - Please throw your money in the bucket and save our jobs. June 2010 - Give us £400 in 20 days time or lose the seat you've had for 8 years. I'm just going to cherry pick the glamour ties. ...it will be a cheap season.
  19. Are they sending out the renewal forms?
  20. It's pointless worrying about what might happen because we cannot effect it, it is right to ask questions and people shouldn't get all defensive when people do. We all like to think of pompey's owners as evil and our rich owner as some sort of fairy god father but fact is we could very easily end up in a similar situation to portsmouth (saddled with massive debt), it is nieve to think otherwise.
  21. There is no doubt that the current capacity would be restrictive if were to get to the Prem, and SMS was done on a budget so it wouldn't surprise me if Cortese went for a new stadium option. Much would depend on how well SMS could be upgraded. 55k would be daft, even with Chelsea style investment we couldn't fill that. 40-45k would be about right.
  22. Wasn't planning permission for a few houses on Jackson's Farm refused? I think if we get back to the Prem increasing SMS' capacity is a good idea, even building a new ground (around the 45k size) could be a great idea. But the idea of a 55,000 stadium in Hedge End is up there with pompey's floating potty in terms of being a non goer.
  23. Do you seriously think building a stadium, almost as big as Arsenal's, on farm land in Hedge End is a good idea?!
  24. A 55,000 stadium in Hedge End! Are you guys serious? LOL
  25. There is no reason why "viable position" shouldn't mean leaving them in League 2 though. They can easily pay back more than 20p in the pound and stlll be a viable business, it's not the administrators job to make sure they have a team good enough to challenge for promotion or even good enough to stay in the Championship.
