Exactly, they have to face up to the fact that the Airline industry has gone through dramatic changes in recent years. It's a simple case of adapt or die and like in many industries it means the workers might have to accept worse conditions and less pay.

I think unions are dated, they were a great idea when kids were being sent down the mines for 12 hours a day and a job was for life, but now things have moved on. If you don't like your job you are free to get another one with conditions that suit you. If the BA cabin staff are so hard done by there must be plenty of other companies with better pay and conditions. If not then they have nothing to moan about.

That's not true, apart from the fact that it's not just the big 4 who rest players for less important games. They have often lost to lesser teams as a result. Arsenal fielded a bunch of kids against Man City despite being weaker on paper. It's good management to rest your best players when needed. That means you prioritize.

I'm guessing this is a case of The Echo getting too big for it's boots and Cortese is simply letting them know where they stand. I wouldn't put our a weakened team for the sake of it but if I was manager, and thought some players would benefit from a rest, I would choose the FA Cup game because it's the least important. All managers prioritise games at some point, you never see Arsene Wenger say "we must win every game" then end up with half his team injured or suspended for a vital League match because they had to turn out for a Coca-Cola cup fixture a few days before hand.

It's a great chance of a trip to Wembley so I would play a full strength side. We should use the FA Cup to rest important players.
