Would it be worth boycotting/protesting against Barclay's and Aviva? Probably make naff all difference but it is these two organizations that are actively trying to kill off the football club. It may help if the people of Southampton let them know exactly how they will feel should the worst happen. A peaceful/mildy violent demo outside their branches in town might grab some attention and add some pressure.

It's amazing that they can get 90+mill investment yet an investor could get SFC for under a 10th of that and would get a club with a bigger stadium, better training/academy set up and a much bigger fan base. Fair play to Brighton though, their fans have had to put up with more than their fair share of grief.

I still don't think anyone has anything to gain through Saints being in the Blue Square, the worst case scenario has to be Bank owns the ground, the Academy, Staplewood and Farm are flogged, and some pauper buys the club for nominal amount. If SFC folds then SMS will be worth nothing and the players will walk away for nothing - how can that be in the interests of the Banks?

What the English game needs is a fairer distribution of the money, at the moment the Premier League is just so predictable it's dull beyond belief. Everyone knew who would be the top 4 at the start of the season, we know what it will be next year. I think the English leagues would be superb if the Sky money was distributed evenly to all 92 clubs, so Bournemouth get the same cut as Man U. Would never happen because of the greed of the big clubs but would make the whole thing an exciting competition.

I disagree, I think it is vital to have people who know the game in the boardroom.

I think getting MLT on board is a very good move, if only for the feel good factor. I certainly wont hesitate in spending £400+ on a season ticket if he is involved. MLT also knows football and SFC inside out, he has excellent contacts in the game and has a high profile in the media - it's all positive from where I'm sat.
