But if it's not crystal clear on the website, putting quantity as two on a BOGOF risks you being sent four tracksuits which would be catastrophic.
-
Don't you have 15 players out of contract though? By what he said there you will not be able to replace any of them.
-
I would expect someone would pick us up on the cheap, I wouldn't be surprised if Crouch sorted something out.

The thought of hanging around the lower reaches of League 1/2 for the next 15 years while Lowe attempts to pay off our debts is way more depressing than possibly being worse off after admin. We will never be in a position to move forward while the club is a PLC and it's shares are held by a bunch of paupers who hate each others guts - there will just NEVER be any investment. The Chairman/Cheif Exec are clueless, the debts are crippling and the set up makes change impossible. Admin could be a bitter pill worth taking, short of a Billionare sugar daddy show me another way out?
-
I agree with Alpine, administration could be very bad, but it could also see the end to Lowe and the PLC, it's a huge risk but is one that is looking more and more worth taking with every balls up by Lowe. How many relegations will it take before even the most die hard luvies finally realise that Lowe hasn't got a clue?

So now any bugger can play on the hallowed turf

I played at the Dell and I'm ****. -
Fail to beat Charlton and it's curtains IMO, mainly because our next two games are Wolves away (little chance of a point) and Watford away (always get dicked). We need to beat Charlton AND have the other results go our way to stand a decent chance IMO.
-
Didn't see what happened but can comfirm that some of the Northern Plod were a bunch of tossers.
-
What's the odds in Saints losing their next couple of games, making relegation and administration inevitable - but just 10 days too late to take the 10 points hit this season? You just know that with our comically tragic run of bad luck, this will happen.
-
Surely there has to be a good chance of some one other than Lowe buying the club outright after admin?

Were Still In The Same Position Jan Left Us In

It's funny how at the start of the season Wotte and Poortvleit formed part of a seamless revolutionary coaching setup, but now it's just written off as all Poortvleit's fault. -
Blackpool were rubbish but probably should have won. Getting just 3 points from Derby, QPR and Blackpool has probably blown our chances of overtaking the teams above us.

This Season - Carbon Copy of Wotte's Relegation of Den Bosch

I think Strach was stitched up by his chairman the season Coventry went down. If I remember rightly they flogged 3 of their best players, think it was McCallister, Robbie Keane and either Huckerby or Dublin. -
30% chance is probably about right. Facts are we could win our game in hand and still not be out the bottom 3. Form wise we are OK so have a chance but we are on the ropes, one weekend of bad results could see us 6 points adrift. Charlton is a must win just to keep us in touch because Wolves and Watford away follow and I can't see us getting more than a point from them.

This Season - Carbon Copy of Prem Relegation
aintforever replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
You cant compare us to Reading, they have a sugar daddy. The one important similarity with our two relegation seasons is Lowe's failure to get the right manager. -
Nothing stupid about it, it's worth giving stick to try and put them off. He was applauded by pretty much everyone after the game.
-
I wouldn't know what Bolton's accounts look like but they are a smaller club than us in a ****ty part of the country but are still in the Prem. My point is that setting a wage ceiling of say 10k will mean that you can not sign ANY decent free transfer, which means you have to pay a fee for average players who are willing to earn peanuts. We failed to adapt after the bosman ruling, we should have accepted that virtually all footballers are merceneries and had a flexible wage structure.

Agree Wotte needs to earn his crust and shake it up because the performance on Saturday against a poor Blackpool team wasn't good enough. I would try Skacel in midfield, this is a guy who scored 16 goals in one season from midfield for Hearts, he was top for assists in our playoff season - he is wasted at left back IMO.
-
-
The Dell did give the players more of an advantage than SMS, you cannot deny that opposition players hated playing there. But the financial advantage of SMS has to outweigh that , but only in the Prem.
-
Pompey would go through this league like a vindaloo IMO.
-
Or maybe Wotte's honeymoon period would have just occured a few games earlier and we would be in the same position we are now? The performance against QPR was dog****, no better or worse than under Jan IMO.
-
Can't argue with any of that.
