Agree with this. Now that I’ve calmed down a little (had to apologise to the kids for turning the air blue when the Everton goal went in...) I have to agree with a number of other posters - specifically, had we won yesterday the need to win at Swansea was 100% still there. I can just imagine us (from decades of experience!) going to Wales cocky or complacent after getting 3 points at Goodison and f.ucking it up. That would put the Swans a point above us if we were to lose with us then having to get something against City whilst hoping Stoke get something at Swansea. Even a draw would have multiple issues for us.
So....nothing really has changed and that is the way we ALL need to view it. We have our destiny in our own hands. We are improving and Swansea are not Barca. Hughes will know how to keep morale up, minds focussed and desire strong.
We can still do this. And 3 weeks ago I would have given my right arm to be where we are now.
Come Tuesday night I will be shouting myself hoarse and likewise Sunday at St Mary’s, whatever the outcome.
COYS.
