And batman knows this full well and is being a trolling facetious cretin. And he knows it. But can’t bring himself to admit it. Sad really.
-
On a numerical level, perhaps. But in terms of quality can you really argue we are weaker? Gabbiadini - 1 goal this season; Hoedt -liability; Davis - hasn’t figured this season and over the hill; Cedric - many faults and not fancied by Ralph. Don’t think you can evidence that in terms of quality we are weaker.

Out of interest, and despite his ban now having ended, no Austin on the bench today. Anyone any the wiser?

Lineker said on MOTD that as no penalty was given and no card shown it can’t be acted upon. Guests agreed that it’s a ridiculous rule.

At least we are not alone in the surrendering two goal leads club.....

This. Someone with pace if at all possible, though such players are of course at a premium.

The “Just Park” app is really good - allows you to park on people’s driveways if they’re registered (and you are too of course) and for relatively little money. You search by the area you want to park in - really simple. I’ve used it on quite a few occasions especially at busy times of the year.

Have a good one fellow Saints fans! Here’s to a happier 2019 for one and all!

This is going to take time, and we need to be patient...

I did say I was stating the bleeding obvious....Just trying to inject some calm, relativity and positivity. -
I realise that this is to a degree stating the bleeding obvious, but now that the penny has finally dropped in the upper echelons of the club that our direction of travel needed serious correction, and with Les going and RH coming in, we have the beginnings of a new project. But here’s the rub: we are going to have to be patient, and perhaps more important, we are going to have to support to the fullest extent. This is going to be hard. The last 2-3 years of poor management, awful recruitment and a perception (at the very least) that certain players don’t give a flying f.uck have left us, as Saints fans, devoid of hope, enthusiasm and belief. But we have to give Ralph and the players every ounce of support we can, even when things are going against us. RH has himself said the team we saw against Cardiff will bear no resemblance to the team we see in 6 months’ time. In that time we may well scrape enough points to stay up, we may not. But we have to give this man a chance to build and I’m confident we will. We are building for the long term again - and in the right way, at last - and need to be patient. We may regress in the first few games as players adapt to the new system. We may not pick up any more points this year. But we have to be patient, and we have to continue to do our job as supporters. I feel optimistic for the medium and long terms. There is not a massive gap between us and the morass above us and but whatever happens, I feel more able to support our team than at any time over the last 3 years, and shall continue to be at St Mary’s come what may. COYS

“Watch out for that post, Wes” “**** off is there a po...(thump)”

Was he in charge last season when they beat us 2-0 at St Mary’s? If so, they played us off the pitch that day.

I love the bit where he’s quoted as saying “I’ve been through these things before”. Why’s that then Mark?!? If you’ve never seen the brilliant “Lucky Number Slevin”, this is Ben Kingsley’s character’s take on it: “The first time a man calls you a horse, you kick him in the shin; the second time a man calls you a horse, you punch him in the stomach; but the *third* time a man calls you a horse? Well my friend, maybe it’s time to buy a saddle.” Time to buy a saddle, Mark.

Long’s injured so it may be Austin on his own (in which case WTAF) or maybe Austin and Obafemi....
-
The other issue is, irrespective of how ****e the disallowed goal was - and it was - we were winning at that point. We could and should have had the will and the wit to see it through. But we don’t and - yet again - we didn’t. Hughes isn’t changing this and has to go.
