What the hell does that matter? Utterly cretinous comment. I support Saints and the players who play for my team,irrespective of their standard compared to others. Bet you said the same before the Chelsea game too.

Am reassured by what you and others say. My worry though is that the weaknesses we can all see won't be addressed in January and we will sleep walk into a situation far worse than the one we are in now. Could just be the natural pessimist in me though.....

Genuine question - not on wind up - but I would be interested to know if anybody feels that relegation is a real possibility. Are we too good to get sucked into a dogfight? Are there enough teams far worse than us? We just don't seem to be able to get out of the funk we are in so would be interested to know if anybody feels this could / will get worse. As I say, genuine question.

How about we all calm down, and see how it goes before admitting defeat? Is that so unreasonable? Yes, weird lineup - partly enforced, partly through choice - but here's a thought: maybe the manager who got our highest ever finish last season knows what he is doing? If he's wrong, we'll give him what for at the final whistle; but let's stop the white flag waving before a ball's been kicked, eh?

And I have no intention of acceding to an ultimatum from you or anybody else just because you think you know what will happen in 6 months time.
