Nail on head. Totally agree. The football under Adkins is, above all, much quicker of thought which in turn makes it more imaginative and more unpredictable for the opposition. Pardew relied on RL and we had the simple speed of PW and MA to feed off his knock downs, but, if not entirely one dimensional, it was a little simplistic. Adkins thinks more about how his sides play, and that is now starting to shine through. Second half yesterday, in particular, was a joy to watch. The fact that goals are now coming from all over the park tells you more than a little.
