  1. Depending on where you are in the world - In Europe have seen moving pictures when going in through the BBC Sport website to listen to a game, but ended up with the Radio 5 commentary over the top of the live game. I had hoped it would work that way when in China for the cup Semi last year, but the bamboo firewall only allowed radio through.
  2. As has been said Reading haven’t known what they are doing until the latest manager walked through the door - Christ Gallagher at Birmingham was played out of position. Sims has pace which is what we lack.
  3. Looking forward to him getting a go, and being given a chance to get his feet under the table..........if Mr 50p 2 Left Feet on Backwards can get a game up front more often than not. Sam is going to have to work damn hard to match that level of performance week in week out and get dropped along the way.
  4. Happens further up the pitch too, watching Wednesday night the amount of times we turned the wrong way to be beaten in the challenge. oh yeah......boy there has been some top drawer bellendery in this thread!
  5. Cousins support Bury where we got Ferry from, they said he was the pick of their academy crop. They also asked if we could fast track him to the first team and sell him to City for £50m+........once again Bury have some money issues.
  6. South Today tonight had a piece from Reading, towards the end they said about 6 or 7 players were due to have their futures decided in the next couple of days
  7. It seems already that Ralph has a blueprint for playing, which is no doubt why we got him. I saw something the other day to say the u23's etc were training alongside the first team under the same system. The beauty of players like Valery, and no doubt Klopp has found with Arnold and Robertson, is they are a sponge, so don't really have any other mangers ideas, ways and bad habits in their heads, so they become a blank canvas to have ideas and ways of playing worked into them, which becomes a default setting, creating less of a "sod it this ain't working - I'm going to do what I have always done in the past" mentality.
  8. Secondeddddddd Hazard got very little change out of him last night.
  9. I quite enjoyed that.
  10. If that was Saints it would have pinged back into play and not in the net!
  11. And Kompany gets away with just a Yellow for another agricultural tackle for the second game running. Tonights one made PEH’s tackle look quite soft. At least we have a goal to keep the game bubbling along.
  12. Probably why Bednarek took over taking them, we are crap at throw ins in general anyway
  13. I can't wait.........certainly not for the faint hearted!
  14. Whilst that would be a very cunning plan - you would think Ralph would like to avoid too many midweek games to work on the players conditioning for the league.
  15. What would an ex Pro know about football..........you must know the drill on here: if they come out of the Academy they are a steaming pile of crud, and we should have squirted a heap of dosh on a some bloke most have never heard of that "Man U were interested in" = their scout left before Half Time having run a pencil through his name. I thought he did well too, didnt seem fazed by Hazard and his immense ability to make far more experienced players look stupid. Some wag on here mithered about his Cedric'esk cross high across the box but the damn thing went out for a corner to us. Rome wasn't built in a day but given the frequency of games and the disappointments of WH and City, I thought we looked tight, disciplined, and well drilled. Get Derby out of the way and we have a clear week to work on stuff and get climbing out of the mire. Gunn was good, Maya too, I thought Jan was pretty damn good too, shame he was carded after being exposed through faffing about by Vestergaard. We really do need some power up front, Shane Long is like a broken teacup that has been glued together but with one or two bits missing so the ball just leaks through him just like Tea would if poured into the cup. Charlie Austin needs it on a plate, and Ings ain't getting any change out of the game if he ain't getting any viable service of assistance. Hopefully Obafemi mends soon and Gallagher gets to take the chance when it comes.
  16. Barkley is a master at laying on the floor for nothing

  21. Looking above my stream is runnng in 2018! anyone got a better one
  22. Maya giving that little git Willian a hefty Charlie Horse - nice Ninja strike - oh dear Loftus Cheek.
  23. Not quite - the boy needs taming thats all - he has the ability, just has allsorts going on between his ears that needs sorting.
  24. More of a Wild Horse that has the potential to be an Olympic Dressage winner but only with the right management - maybe Ralph could be the one to reign him in. Puel wasnt with him long enough, Pellegrino clipped his wings, Hughes couldn'y be bothered with him.
